I think he's done. I think trump is a liar not to be trusted and really sees Johnson as just another iteration of Mike Pence - all religious and Boy Scout like.
I think he loses on the first vote and the House immediately convenes, but for a day. Repubs turn to trump and, whatdayknow, there's Steve Scalise standing, smiling right there next to trump.

Anyway, the House of Clowns will presumably get their act together and elect a Speaker in one of the next rounds of voting.
