WELCOME TO THE NOOK!
Ok one more time for a thread where people can hang out and be friends. I have had a couple of threads that died after a year or so. I miss those where I had made some real friends.
I am going to open up and just be really honest here... I am very lonely in my life and I really could use some good friends who are there for each other.
In the last 2 years I have had some major things happen in my life; the lost of my mom, my kids living so far away that I never get to see them or my grand kids and a marriage where there is no intimacy. But I am not wanting to gripe about that... or want advice on how to fix it. I just want friends.
People you can chat with. Not just on lit but on yahoo. I wish there was a site where you just made friends.
I am married, have kids, a stay at home dad. Most of my friends live down south and I relocated for the marriage. I do get lonely at times and wish I had friends to just chat with. Stay at home moms know what I am talking about. Yes I have kids who are adults and I ended up with a surprise and so now I am doing this all over again. Marriage is not the best, and no I am not looking for a woman to hook up with. I just miss having friends. Everyday chit chat friends... Guys or women... Just would love to have people I can talk about and we really care about each other and are interested in each others lives. Maybe I am asking WAY TOO MUCH.... but come on, I can't be the only one looking for this.
If you want a friend...someone to talk about life, kids, grand kids... Hey I talk about everything... then come hang out and lets start a friend thread.
