Jayne leaned into Rose her cheek against her chest and she felt herself being rocked back and forth and felt Rose's hand run over and through her hair. Both of them sitting there quietly until Jayne pulled back looking up at Rose, "we have been through so much, I dont know if I could do it without her."

I am sure you both have Jayne and I wish there was more I could do but right now the fight is in Penn's hands so for now since there is nothing I can do for Penn at least for another few hours so I will do what I can with you Jayne and hold you as a mother would her upset child.

Jayne leaned back into Rose, slipping her arms around her and hugged her tight. Tears came more and more freely now too and wetted Rose' shoulder but she did not let go or let up on her grip until finally she looked up with her cheeks and face all wet, "thank you, for everything you have done. I can never repay you for any of this."

There is no need to repay me Jayne.
Rose's voice came softly.
It is I who thinks they should pay you but I can not, I can not even promise at this point your sister will survive due to my sighted blindness but I guess in this case for whatever reason what happened was not meant to be seen by me. For now Jayne rest your eyes and head and know you are safe.

Closing my eyes, still wrapped in the arms of Rose. Thinking that sleep would be the last thing that would happen. Nevertheless within a minute Jayne was sound asleep.

Once Jayne was well and sound a sleep Rose slipped Jayne from her body laying her down on the bed and covering her up before leaving the room Jayne was in to check on Penn and the four babies who had finally cried themselves to sleep again just as Jayne had done.

Penn would be laying in bed sheet white looking as if she wasn't breathing really the only indication she was still alive was when her entire body seizing hard once or twice before becoming still again.
Her breast totally flat and her body itself looking as if she had not eaten in years.

The babies on the other hand all looked healthy and seemed to be growing quickly especially the girl.

(sorry still not sure what I want to do as far as Penn. I do have a question for both Jayne and Rose and that is if it came down to it would you two mind me playing two characters off Kytt which would be Penn and then another male character to come in a slightly later time. assuming that is of course Jayne you even want a male character to play with.)

Before leaving the room Rose takes the time to feed all four babies with formula she had on hand. It was not much and she knew tomorrow she would have to get more for now however it was enough.
Rose as she finally turned spoke allowed unsure if Penn would even hear.
Penn you must fight whatever is happening to you I do not as your sister will survive if you pass away and your beautiful babies need their mother too.

Penn did hear and the truth was she was fighting with everything she had she just had no way of letting anyone know this but for her body which would go into a hard convolution type state every once in a while when she tried to drawl a deep breath or move.
As Penn laid in this state between life a death a flash of a memory came back to her, this what it was like when there sister past. Days upon days of screams coming from her, then silence, and finally her dead body being wheeled past but there was something else something else which up until now Penn had not recalled something Penn had forced from her mind or so she thought for now as she lay here it came flooding back.
The memory which came flooding was that of Jayne and her's sister less then one day before her passing walking more like waddling around in a near zombie state looking like not much more then a pile of bone but with a huge swell again and her words to Penn...They will force my death if I do not give him a son.
That was the last Penn had in fact seen their sister alive.
This flash of the memory recalled brought tears to Penn's face for two reasons one she knew she was not going to die and two for all the children her and her sister had lost and the lose of their sister too.

Jayne woke and silently walked from her room and stood in the doorway of Penn's she looked at her sister, her eyes closed her chest gently rising and falling with her breathing and then she looked at the children. Noticing the girl was bigger then the three boys.

She stared at them for a minute or two before turning and walking. She found herself in Rose's room. Rose herself was sleeping and she looked at Rose as she softly walked in and as gently as she could Jayne sat down and then laid down in Rose's bed looking up at the ceiling.

Waking to find Jayne a sleep in her bed gave Rose a slight start but not enough to disturbed Jayne. Covering her up Rose slipped from the bed to go check on Penn something not feeling quite right but what she could not place her finger on.

Penn was laying in bed now her eyes open starring straight a head at where all four babies where at. Her face flush and pale at the same time voice cracking as she spoke in very quick words each one clearly taking great effort.
Rose. Food. Jayne.
That was all Penn had for now as her body once again feel basically limp in the bed and her breathing slightly more shallow but not nearly as shallow as it had been a day or so go.

Jayne come quick it's Penn, she's awake and asking for you.
Rose would call out just as she watched Penn slump limply over again in the bed but even with this Rose knew Penn was going to make it and so waited for Jayne who was sure to come running in fast to tell her what happened since well Penn was once again out cold.
While she waited Rose also took the time to feed the four babies amazed at how fast the girl was growing for already the girl looked like she was close to 3 months in size where as the boys only maybe a month and yet all had only been born no more then a week ago.

Jayne turned and walked, stopping in the doorway as she looked into the room. Looking from Penn to the babies and back again.

"Are you ok?" she asked her voice almost at a whisper as she took a step into the room.

Jayne, Penn was awake but has passed out again.
She asked for you and food and that was it.
I don't know what to feed her however maybe just some simple broth and dried toast for I fear right now her system won't in fact take food at all.
If you wish stay with her also keep an eye on the babies especially the girl she is giving me great concern too for the quickness she is growing.
With that Rose turned and walked out of the room heading for the kitchen.

Returning a short while later with a tray upon which was a small bowl of broth and a slice of dried toast for Penn and a sandwich for Jayne, Rose came in setting the tray down before moving over to Penn's side.
Penn you need to wake again I brought you the food you asked for and Jayne I made you a sandwich too.

** I know I'm not on much but I am thinking I can play the daughter at times too and perhaps since I read that Kytt might play two people if she wishes can play one of the sons. Also if any of you doesn't like what I've posted here especially Kytt since she was one to birth all four children, a surprise to me and my unnamed character to say the least but a nice one please let me know, Thank you-L.**





The reason the daughter was growing so fast was that she was a breeder like her mother only more advanced because of the father's magical genes.
The sons born where to carry on the father's gene of which he was one of the last which was why he was desperate to have sons for only the sons could carry on the magical line which allowed or forced women into rapid pregnancy growth so that his line didn't fully die.
He knew right away when the sons where born even without being there for as soon as they where born he grew younger again and his magical want and desire to grow children inside a women's womb manifested strongly which meant there was a daughter.. He also knew that the mother if she lived at all would be hard pressed to have any more children and so he starting making plans to kidnap the children soon knowing that in a matter of a few weeks to a month especially if he could work his magic on the the new born that they would become of legal age 18 or 19 as was his choosing and he could then send the sons out to breed women of age and he himself could begin breeding his own daughter.

Penn would stir slightly looking over at the babies then Jayne and lastly Rose.
Her voice soft and cracking with clear effort to speak.
Jayne, I remember something... food.
Penn's eyes fell closed again as her body slumped over to the side.


(lyle I don't care who or what you play really. I am not sure as I want to play one of the sons to be Jayne's mate or if I will play a male at this point at all. right now I'm working on the slow healing of Penn and nothing more.)

Jayne looked at Rose, "food? do we need some." She turned back and Penn was sleeping once more and Jayne checked on the babies and then went back out. "I dont know if that is what she remembered, but we do need to get some." Jayne said as Rose walked into the kitchen.

serveral hours later Penn would wake again seeing the dried toast off to the side of her she would reach for it knocking everything else over causing it to fall to the floor with a loud shattering bang, none the less Penn was proud of herself and began eating the toast getting about half way through the slice before realizing she could eat no more.

Jayne's eyes opened at the sound. She had been napping and hearing the sound she laid there for a few seconds before getting up and running to Penn's room. She stopped in the doorway and saw the mess on the side of the bed and saw Penn sitting there eating the toast getting crumbs all over. "feeling better?" she asked.
