of course HLAH is doing the count down for me so I don't have to worry about that this time.

And "Bash" came up with the idea of sponsors

Lunar & CNCG have been so helpfull with the hotel selection which I think we've actually compleated.

I'm just coordinating and dishing out jobs

Who would want to sponsor a gathering of Lit folks?

The contemporary way to gain sponsorship for an event is through "official" designations. Such as:

Hershey's, official chocolate syrup.
Linens-n-things, official supplier of 300-count sheets and bath towels.
TenderDOM, official supplier of BDSM waxing candles.
Band-Aid, official supplier of bandages for knees skinned on carpets.

You get the idea.

So how does one get an invite? How do I get to know the attendees? I feel like a party crasher...but can't wait to get in!

One more little piece of info you might be interested in knowing.


I'm contacting several vendors to see if I can get some sponsors.

one thing I'm trying to get is a FREE wet bar on Fri and maybe even Sat night.

however we need to have a huge number of people that are at least truly planning on comming (50).

right now I can't say that so if you want to have FREE drinks for that weekend get out there and invite.

If your planning on bringing anyone that isn't on the list let me know so I can add them to the total count too. That will help as well.

the more people we have the better the chances we'll have alot of sponsors. I'm working on several things in that dept.

*nods* The swingers club has gotten some new coverage over the years - negative, of course...but I've only seen the alternative paper cover anything about the bdsm groups - and it was positive.
