It's a really cool feeling *no pun intended lol*

You take regular rubbing alcohol, rub it on the skin making sure none of it pools up *if the pool catches fire you could damage the skin*, light the alcohol for no more than three seconds and rub your hand back over the fire to put it out. Sir John made an observation that I hadn't thought of in regards to the knife play and fire play, the knife play kind of scraps up the nerves and wakes them up, then the alcohol and fire make more of an impact on the submissive's senses.

Ok, so it's another one of my favorite forms of play lol Just make sure if you participate in a fire scene, that the person you're playing with knows what they are doing. You don't want to end up in the emergency room with second or third degree burns because they used something like the antibacterial gel soap stuff - one lady said she was offered a scene that used the gel and Sir John that the gel will stick to the skin and make it harder to put the fire out, therefore causing serious burns to the skin.

hmmm... I've head of the process of fireplay before though not in this context or by that name. Sounds very cool!

*nods* I liked that he did it all with his hands, instead of a qtip or some torch like device. His reasoning was, if it's too hot for his hands, it's too hot for her skin. I like his reasoning, he's very safe.

It can if the person doesn't know a whit about what they're doing. If anyone offers, make sure you speak to several people first, just to make sure what they have planned - get details - is safe.

Guess that's one of the reasons I'm really picky about who I play with on a casual level, too much of what we do can be very dangerous.
