Eh, I would think that the Protoss would find a fight on even terms or any against Jim Raynor to be honorable. Any fight that does not include unfair advantages or cheating would be honorable to the Protoss.

Okay, read the post.

Well, any self-respecting armorer and/or arms dealer (whatever the hell might be manning the armory) would be able to identify a Dominion-issued weapon. They might even be able to determine when and where the weapon was made. So, having the guy in the armory be a dufuss is kinda outta the question.

However, given the fact that the city has just been beaten to hell and gone by the Zerg and survived, and the fact that Hybrid was killed pretty much right outside the armory, I'm willing to bet that the guy in the armory is just a little tipsy from his cooping mechanism. Maybe not drunk enough to not recognize the weapon at all, but tipsy enough to neither notice nor ask questions about it until the girl is well away from the place.

Zeratul is about the same height as James Raynor, I think. So they aren't that much different in height from the Terrans. Of course, I could be mistaken. The only scene in SC2 that shows Raynor and Zeratul next to each other doesn't really show it in a way that makes it easy to compare heights.

Then I must be mistaking the Protoss with some other race.

Also if the armorer does question her about the Dominion weapon and then goes to confront Gabe, the report from the Protoss about the Dominion spy will also link up well with that.

It would seem that the geologist was just at the right place at the wrong time to have found a dropped piece of weaponry and of course the Zerg have trampled all over the ground where he found the pistol so there will be no tracks left

nope... your female companion was never traced in accordance in checking up the pistol (since she never left her name) and the communication for the captain was "destroyed" since the communications center was heavily damaged... also the captain does not return to the ship for 4-6 months. so the dominion spy is relatively safe ^^ woohoo...

WHEEE i gotta go and kill anything... preferable a snail

Not a clue what happened to him. But this isn't unusual. People express interest, talk a bit, then disappear for an extended period of time. Real life and all that. He'll probably be back, eventually. Maybe.

Swords, eh? Well, the Protoss could probably admire the craftmanship and elegance of a sword, but they use warp blades, which are focused pure psionic energy, instead. I don't think their hand structure would allow them to use a sword as we know it. Maybe if some Terran decided to get creative and design a sword for the Protoss hand structure, I'm willing to bet that Zeladar would find time to practice.

Speaking of real life, it's quarter after four in the morning here. Time for bed. Talk to you guys tomorrow.

I think swords would be interesting, especially if they can be used like the bayonets on the cannons that the walkers use in Avatar.

There was a suit mentioned that has no extras (cough cough) maybe Gabe can get a sword that can fit with the suit?

Lans...why'd you have to get rid of the message warning Michael of a Dominion spy? Oh well, there are other ways of getting the message through.

By the way, DK, that 3 meter tall alien race you were thinking of was probably the Na'vi from Avatar, seeing as how you made a reference to that movie with regards to the walkers. The Protoss are probably about 2 to 2.5 meters tall, if that.

Yeah must be the Na'vi I'm confusing the Protoss with. But yet still looking at 2.5m a Protoss will still tower over Gabe. I'm 1.78m and my one friend is 1.83m, he looks like a giant against me, but that could also be because I'm fat and he is more athletic LOL

2.5 meters is only about 7 feet tall (U.S. measurement system). Average person is about 6 feet, or 2 meters.

Exactly. Did you notice how tall Big Show and Great Khali is? Hell even check out how big Nathan Jones is then you can also turn your attention to guys like Undertaker (Mark Gallaway) and Kane (Glen Jacobs) they're big MoFos and even a guy as tall as Jack Swagger looks particularly small compared to them. So maybe hand-to-hand Gabe will have one tenth of a chance, but no chance to win really

Um...yeah, I have no idea who any of those people are.

But as Yoda says "Size matters not." Hell, I've done martial arts for most of my life and I've seen scrawny 13-16 year olds flip 200lbs 30 year olds over their shoulder.

Extra reach does help, but it could also hurt. There are always ways to get inside someone guard, and once you do...well, let's just say that you could end the fight quite quickly.

And that would explain why I don't know those guys. I don't care much for wrestling, especially the fake kind.

I love the fake kind, it's good comedy. The problem is when they try to take themselves seriously. But anyway Big Show is 7'2", Great Khali is 7', Undertaker is 6'9" and Kane is 6'10". Not sure how tall Nathan Jones is, but he is that big guy in The Protector that beats the daylights out of Tony Yaa or whatever his name is

Interesting. And yeah, those are pretty big guys. But I'm sure that if they were to come up against someone smaller who has some skill, they'd get their asses kicked.

Thing is that a Protoss is skilled and Gabe will still have a hard time despite his skills and experience just to keep his head on his body. Wonder how a Protoss would react to Full Nelson hold seeing that there would be a lot of force placed on them nervous center thingy's on the back of the head and neck

The Dark Templar cut those short. It symbolizes their rejection of the Khala, the communal mind link of the rest of the Protoss race. Plus, Protoss bodies are built completely different. It's likely that a lot of the holds that work on humans won't work on them.
