first... i just want to say thanks for making this thread cool

second... michael's post will be there soon

third... post some battles while your at it.. and no god - mode :)

fourth... how does anyone feel about being promoted to captain when michael gets bumped up to general of the Haven military forces. :)

five... the post regarding the news about the spy... no one official gets to read that report until after five months :)
 
Uhm I will be able to write a battle or two. Where would you want them?

Also after Five months Gabe will be off Haven, unless I should run with the idea that Gabe gets orders to stay and wait for Raynor's return
 
Oh I didn't forget, I'm just stating that it could be a direction to go. Oh wait, you probably have something evil in mind for me again

Second...Okay.

Third...Why create a battle when Zeladar is already heading towards one?

Fourth...Is "captain" a higher rank than Executor of the Shakuras Fleet? :D

Fifth...Which post regarding what news about the spy? Would that be the spy's report back to the Dominion or the intercepted transmission that was relayed to Michael's battlecruiser?

btw, jedi. here's a rough draft

you entered the third floor (exploded room) and jumped down to the second floor. now... Michael and his men are at Basement Level 1 :) that's three more floors to go
 
So I guess the militia will just show up and do the mopping up, Gabe of course damaging the wall integrity with his new gun :D

B1 being the floor with the main power generator in a room full of Zerg? I figure that Zeladar is just reaching the first floor when Michael starts running for his life from those Zerg.

That particular quote "I have become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds" is from an ancient Hindu text, quoted by the guy who created the first atomic bomb back in WWII when the first test of the bomb was successful.

However, that wasn't the quote I was referring to. I probably should have said "my post above" instead of just "the post above"

Heading to bed. It's 4:30 AM here. Thankfully I don't have an obligations tomorrow that require me to get out of bed, so I'll get a good 12 hours sleep.
 
Alright, I've been fairly paatient up until now, it's been weeks. When exactly am I going to get contacted?
 
It's been less than 24 hours in IC since we started Sword and Zeladar is still dealing with the incident on Haven. Right now, the only character that is available to interact with you is Jag's character. Or Lans can send a Dominion convoy or something your way.


One of the things that I've learned around here is that the biggest difference between pen and paper RPs and RPs here is the speed of the IC. RPs here take a lot longer to go even a few hours in IC than pen and paper RPs like D&D do. And it is this big difference that many people do not seem to either realize and/or accept, thus causing them to become impatient and quit. The vast majority of stories around here die before they can really reach their stride because of that. Sad, but ultimately true. And there is nothing that can be done to change this inherent difference.

If you want, I can provide my analysis for the cause of this inherent difference between RPs like D&D and RPs here. Trust me, I have experience with both, and plenty of time to think about it, so I know what I'm talking about.

Fable 3? Darn I didn't even know they started working on a third one. I just know the second one was released just the other day here in SA.

And c'mon, our thread is starting to slide down the list, write something...anything! :D
 
Maybe if the IC posts went on at a decent rate, I'd understand. However, the posting is so slow.
