I would be glad to have you help out in the military. I can't possibly play the role of the entire Republic Military. The 5th Fleet is stretching it as is. Now, as for being the Commander of Rogue Squadron, I wonder which fleet group they would be assigned to?
 
I'm not sure what fleet Rogue Squadron would be assigned to....guess it really doesn't matter. I'd probably have to play the battle sequences out with multiple characters anyway, not really giving a pretense to any one of them, but more like an action sequence story.

Maybe Rogue Squadron is one of those squadrons that is assigned as needed to a battle group...hence the name "Rogue"? The US military has those that can be assigned as needed to various carrier battle groups, surface assault fleets, and the like. They are not usually on the scale of a full squadron, but more like a "tactical squadron". The US Marines' MEF (Marine Expeditionary Force) is a good example.

As for my qualifications, trust me, I've got most of the tee shirts. ;)
 
Holy hell, Ren. I just read the battle post. What the hell are the Dakari using that can simply ignore the shields of the Republic warships?
 
weapons that dont necessarily work within physics as the republic understands them. But you'll have to learn more over time.

one advantage is that republic ships have an advantage in sub-light speed. The Dakari engines work on different principles.

Have no fear, the republic will eventually adapt, but will they overcome? therein lies the question.

This looks like a job for Chiss scientists to figure out. General Koto will not be pleased about the battle, but he will savor the data that was collected.
 
Was actually waiting to see if we were going to deal with the Council meeting.

If this is not forthcoming, then I shall see that we get to Hoth posthaste.
 
*shrug* I think Ren wants to do the Council meeting as he's got Thorror in there at the moment... I think...

Anyway I'll get word to Ren and see what he's got planned first.
 
Okay, who is going to Hoth? I kinda need an "attendance" list in order to pass along some important info via PM.

hey guys... you think there's room for a "good" bounty hunter/member of Verdico's group. I'll be using my namesake. I dont know much about the intricacies of the Force and the Jedi (I read them) but i'm more attuned to galactic warfare... and modern means... of combat, guns. so u think there's a spot for one? I read the IC, nice...

You know, that's a very good question. What is Verdico doing? And where the heck is Adamus, the guy who's playing him?
 
theres room for a bounty hunter but i wouldnt recommend being in adamus' group, havent heard from him in some time, if i dont see something soon ill have the jedi come upon the corpses of the group.
 
ok, i'll start the bio up as soon as i think of something... hmmmm, whats the current strongest rifle in this age (Star Wars)... i'll think of a way to meet the jedi's on Hoth or the 5th fleet... depending, thanks
