Star Wars

Ghost...

OOC: No problem, Renegade. Any time. And now I am in the detention block with that beast! And Silver is off to capture Katrina! How exciting...

IC: The detention block was littered with the criminally insane, p.o.w.'s, and the awful sounds from a high security cell at the end of the hall that were not human at all.

"That's the beast", said one of the Troopers as they threw Drakon in his cell. "It is savage. It will destroy anyone and anything. Sweet dreams."

The cell's energy field came on and the dark cadet was trapped. He placed his palms to it only to recieve an unpleasant shock.

A old man in the cell across from him laughed, saying "Everybody tries it at least once..." the shadows hid him from view.

Drakon sat back, feelings of despair washing over him. Hate leads to suffering. The young cadet knew that to be true now more than ever. His sadness was so awful that he ached.
There is no choice. There is never a choice.

That is what I used to think too... whispered a strangely familiar voice in his head.

Drakon stood up to see into the next cell again. "Old man? Is that you?"

The Trooper that was standing guard informed, his voice filtered through his mask, "There is no one in that cell."

Drakon looked closely. The soldier was right. He sat back once again intrigued by the strange occurence. The beast roared and pounded in his cage, unsettling him even more...

OOC: Can you guess who the ghost is?

OOC: Wow one day and it is out of control. Well ummm, thanks for remembering me. Nah it's ok, I am cool with it.

Ganor went into his old room. He had barely left, and already he was back. Now it was time.
He quickly took off his clothes, and grabbed teh pack. Inside was a Jedi Uniform.
"I have earth tones," Ganor mumbled as he took out the long brown cloak, and a white tunic. He quickly put these on, making a pretty decent jedi if he didn't say so himself.
Ganor had to make the change legitamit though.
He started concentrating on his mind. Turning it, not all of it, but most to Jedi. It wasn't easy, forgetting the dark side was near impossible. Joining the dark side is always easy, just let yourself go, but Jedi? That requires attention, concentration, and all that crap.
Ganor finished the transformation. Except fro a small piece in the back of his mind. He was a jedi knight.
Most Sith didn't do this trick, they too easily get induced by the light side (the dark side, being induced by the light side? I am crazy, lol). This was the only way, however, to bring Drakon in.
He quickly gave the orders, and within minutes he was tossed into the cell with Drakon.
"Who are you?"
Ganor looked at him, "A freedom fighter, like yourself. I am a Jedi Knight, who tried to stop the Sith by myself."
Drakon looked at him. He seemed to do a probe of his mind. Ganor knew it would be all there, the good, the love, the lgiht, all that crap.
"How did you know I was a freedom fighter?"
Ganor was ready for this, "They send all the freedom fighters here, besides you have a look of a Jedi yourself, or maybe a sith..."
Drakon said nothing. Ganor could feel that he had been weakened, it would just take time. Everything always took time. Ganor sat down, his back against a wall.
"So, how did you get here?" Ganor asked him.
Drakon looked at him...

Silver watched the troopers take Drakon away. She heard her Master commenting on her strength but at Drakon's words... she had felt herself weaken. It sickened her that even now he had an affect on her. She brought all of her dark knowledge to her... putting up mental blocks that were impenetrable even by her Master. He did not deny her this right... his belief in her loyalty was unwavering even when he couldn't read her mind.

She stepped out into the hallway leaving to do his bidding. Why must she bring that girl? She could kill her and be done with it... but she knew in the end she would do as she was told. The Master had a cruel streak. She knew this well. She also knew that each test he threw at her made her stronger. Gritting her teeth she went back to the scene of the fighting her mind probbing the weakening minds of those pathetic Jedi-wannabes that Drakon insisted on calling friends.

Something new was there. Something... strong. Her gaze swept the carnage without blinking. She saw a woman in a man's arms... she was disgusted that they hadn't been killed yet. She searched for the one called Kat. There she was... valiantly fighting to protect her friends... how... loyal... how brave.

Silver stepped forward and turned on her double edged sabre. It hummed menacingly in the air. Kat caught her gaze and Silver could feel the anger.. the heat there. Silver smiled and beckoned with her hand.

"Come... finish what you started girl... or does Drakon mean so little to you that you would flee rather than face me?" Silver taunted.

False friend...

OOC: How incredibly evil! A false friend. Drakon won't escape this drama sane, that's for sure...

IC:Ganor was strong in the Force. His mind cloud worked. Drakon had not yet attained that level of control. He looked at the impostor Jedi sadly, saying, "I suppose you could call me a freedom fighter, too, albeit a reluctant one. I was training under Luke-"

He stopped. In all the excitement, the great Jedi's death had not yet hit him. Tears formed in his eyes.

"Oh, Luke. That ill-fated soul. I feel partially responsible for what happened to him. The New Republic is truly in danger now. Damn it! If I had only listened to him! If I had just focused I might have been able to save him."

"It is a dark time for the rebellion, indeed", said Ganor. He wanted to bring Drakon down to the point of no return. He wanted to destroy his spirit. "You were reckless", he continued.

"I know. Because of my stupid childhood infatuation and my feelings for that new cadet, Master Luke is dead. I am a self-centered fool."

"Some people are just born hopeless. We cannot fight Fate", said Ganor, reading Drakon's inner-most fears.

"I should have destroyed myself when I had the chance."

"Sometimes life is just intolerable, but suicide is cowardice. We must take advantage of our opportunities, no matter how dark they appear to be."

"Life is intolerable."

Ganor almost smiled. The dark cadet was falling deeper and deeper. The Sith were winning.

Farlo Truan

OOC: I'm trying to keep up with this... Just had to quickly read several pages to get the gist... hmm... lets see now... this might work...

(FLASHBACK TIME!)
SCCCCRREEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee
The White Hawk flew low and fast over the training field. Several fellow students below scattered at the sound of a TIE's engine rapidly approaching, others just turned and gawked, recognising the ship
"Oh yes!" I shouted, as I turned her into a roll and climbed, "this ship rocks!"
Get back to the hanger, Farlo Luke's voice echoed in my mind, Play time's over, we've got work to do... we're planning on a little expedition to the Death Star
With a sigh, I turned the White Hawk around, and soon landed again. After a brief private meeting with Luke, I headed off back to the White Hawk, carrying the package he had given me.
Well, this could be fun, I thought, I hope his confidence in me isn't misplaced
I left before the others, intent on carrying out the plan Luke had laid out.

* * *

"This is TIE beta patrol to unknown TIE, identify yourself" came a message through the White Hawk's communication system.
They're not sure what we are... the White Hawk looks like a TIE intercepetor... we could be an Imperial ship for all they now...
"This is unknown TIE to TIE beta patrol flight leader, give your name, rank and security clearance" I said, hitting the communication transmit button, and putting on my best 'imperial officer' voice. I'd met more than a few during my cadet training back at Imperial Centre, or Coruscant.
"This is Captain Gart... security clearance Alpha-452" came the response, after a few moments.
"Not high enough, Captain Gart" I said, "This ship is classified, you and your wingmen will forget you saw it, understood? Or shall I have the ISB transfer you from piloting TIE's to riding dewbacks?" [OOC Note: ISB=Imperial Security Bureau]
"Yes, sir!"
"Very good... I'll recommend you for a commendation instead, Captain Gart"
"Sir? Yes, sir! Thank you, sir!"
"Where is your carrier vessel? I have no information pertaining to one operating in this sector".
"That's... thats classified, sir".
"I hope thats not a joke. I assure you, flight leader, my security clearance is high enough. It was assigned to me by late Lord Vader himself. Now, shall I get a prompt answer from you, so my next transmission to ISB includes a recommendation for a commendation and promotion for your outstanding loyalty, or will it include a query of your carriers current location, and a mention of dewbacks? I'd rather avoid any further patrols from your carrier, Captain Gart, and though I know ISB will provide me with the answer, I'd have to delay this test flight, waiting for their response, and I have a tight schedule to keep... if I am forced to divert from it, you'd be responsible, do I make myself crystal clear?"
"Yes... yes sir! Transmitting my carrier's details and co-ordinates now, sir!"
"Thank you, Captain".
Once the data download was complete, I added "One more thing, Captain Gart... you've blown that commendation. Next time someone tells you they've got security clearance, don't just take their word for it. Check. If I was a rebel spy, you'd have given me classified information. The Empire doesn't tolerate fools, flight leader. Remember that. Be thankful I'm feeling tolerant at the moment, and I need some assistance. My astromech droid has a malfunction, and I need to recalibrate it before I make another lightdrive jump. You and your wingmen will escort me back to your battle station... now".
"Yes, sir-"
I flicked the communication system off. Would I have been so blindly loyal as a member of the Imperial forces? Probably.
And that I think scared me more than the coming Death Star.

* * *

I and I6T9 stepped down off the White Hawk's elevator, a TIE pilot waiting for me, undoubtedly Captain Gart.
"Sir!" he saluted. I was wearing a commander's uniform, part of the package Luke had given me.
"Captain" I said, simply, "Where is the captain of the guard for the hanger bay?"
He nodded over to a squad of stormtroopers nearby.
I approached him.
"Captain, assign some men to guard that ship" I said, pointing at the White Hawk, "no-ones to enter her, understand? And inform the hanger detail that ship is classified and I don't want its presence to go beyond this hanger or its personnel"
He snapped to attention when he glanced round and saw my rank.
"Yes, sir!" he said, waving a pair of stormtrooper's over.
I strode away, I6T9 following us. So far, so good.

* * *

After I6T9 downloaded the blueprints for the station, she gave me directions to the power core, and returned to the White Hawk. I hefted the black Imperial courier's bag on my shoulder, containing several Thermal charges, and took the route she had given me. I hoped to get this over with quickly. Despite my confidence, I had felt a... darkness... in the air as soon as I had boarded. Sith. Somewhere on the station. I hoped my own burgeoning Jedi powers would not shout my presence out to them. Anyway, they'd have their hands full soon enough, Luke and the others would be onboard any moment...

* * *

I could sense my fellow students and Luke engaged in battle somewhere on the station. The charges had been placed - the security clearance codes Luke had given me, obtained by rebel intelligence, had got me into the core chamber and past the obstinent guards and officers there, who now had it sealed off tight after my instructions for them to do so.
"There are rebel's aboard the station, seal the core off, immediately. No one is get in there, understand?" I had told the officer in charge, my 'order' tempered by the Jedi Voice.
He didn't know that I had fused the blast door circuits on the inside of the chamber so they couldn't be opened again, not that they'd hopefully find that out for some time.
I was heading back the way I came, when I felt Lukes presence strongly about me. Stronger than I had felt before... was something different about him?
Well done, Farlo he said, I shall try and ward your presence from the Sith - the other's are in trouble...
I nodded, and walked on, picking up my pace a little.

OOC: Farlo isn't aware of Luke's death yet... could be a shock when he finds out!

(END OF FLASHBACKS)

OOC: Oops, sorry Renegade! Just took another look at the previous few pages and spotted Zen's request for a lift... damn! OK, um... rather than me wrack my brains again in altering all the above, say Farlo left after the others instead, and took Zen along. While Farlo's going about his task, you can do some sneaking about of your own. That OK?

Silver and Kat clashed their weapons humming dangerously. Kat no longer could control her anger. She lashed out at Silver. Silver was impressed, she had talent. She stepped backwards and Kat was elated thinking she was getting the upper hand. The dance continued until too late Kat realised the trap she had walked into. She was surrounded by stormtroopers and in that instant Silver threw her force forward making Kat stumble. Her weapons fell and Silver was quick... and ready... the weapons flew and she held them in her grasp looking at Kat with something akin to pity. "Don't worry... with your talent perhaps the Master will be inclined to train you... " Silver smiled and it was not comforting. The troopers took a squirming and defiant Kat to the Master.

Silver approached her Master and knelt before him. "I have brought you the one they call Kat M'Lord..."
"Yessss good." He smiled at the girl who cursed him every name under the sun.
"Can you feel her anger my pet... can you taste it?"
"Yes M'Lord..."
"Go now... check on our visitor... see how he fares... leave this one to me for a bit and collect her later."
Silver froze but quickly recovered. "Yes M'Lord... as you wish." She stood and stared dispationately at the girl. Did she really have what it took to be as one with the dark? She wasn't sure, and she wasn't sure what she wanted the answer to be.

She left the throne room and walked towards the cells. She entered and scanned the captives. Her eyes easily finding Drakon, his head bowed. Ganor beside him. She smiled briefly. "Drakon... my sweet... how fare thee?" She asked. Ganor scowled at her. His pretence was impressive. She ignored him as if she didn't know him.

Drakon looked up and she saw a spark of something. Still not quite broken but much longer in Ganor's care and that would be taken care of. She turned to leave.

OOC: oh don't worry, there is going to be yet (ahem) ANOTHER plot twist, gosh these are getting old.

IC:
"Listen, I demand to see the Sith lord."
Silver turned back, "Oh don't worry Jedi, you will see him soon enough."
She laughed an evil laugh, then left. Ganor felt something, almost like hate and resentment for her. This wasn't part of the plan, was it? He was feeling hate, and clarity.
Ganor shook his head, trying to regain some sense.
"You all right?" Drakon asked.
Ganor looked up at him, "Yes, I just don't understand the fullness of the Sith, I mean it is almost too good to be true."
Drakon said nothing. Ganor was getting to him, somehow he was getting to him, but he was getting to himself too.
"Look, this is going to be a big fight, and I mean big. I would like it if we joined forces to defeat the Sith. Two are better than one."
There, the bait was out in the water, but would he bite?
"I work alone."
Ganor was puzzled, "All Jedi work together, especially for the greater cost."
Ganor actually had him there. He was reciting this Jedi crap like he knew it. This was bad, he would have to change back and soon. This goody too shoes was getting on his nerves.
"All right, but if you do something to screw this up, I will kill you myself."
Ganor took out his light saber, his new one. The new outfit came with a new green Jedi Saber. He looked at it almost in disgust, but somehow it felt comfortable in his hands, it felt....
"Jedi."
"What was that?"
Ganor shook his head, "Nothing, are you ready?"
Drakon shook his head.
Now all they had to do was wait, and hope.
Another Jedi word, what was wrong with him?

Hope?

Drakon decided he would go along with the plan. If there was an opportunity for his redemption after all this, he would take it.

"I have no weapons, Jedi", he said, then thinking, he continued, "How is it that you were allowed to keep your light saber?"

The dark cadet's eyes narrowed in suspicion...

Farlo Truan

Stopping at a communication station recessed into a corridor wall, I called the Hangar.
"Put me through to my ship" I said, to the officer who answered, "the white TIE in the hanger... frequency 34-232-11, and make sure the line is secure, understood?"
"Yes sir" the man answered.
"Master Farlo?" I6T9's voice came through.
"We've got trouble. Luke tell's me some of the other student's have been captured, and we've got to help. Where is the detention block? Can you scan the stormtrooper's frequencies to find out where the fightings still going on?"
I hushed my voice as a pair of stormtroopers ran by me, down the corridor.
"Guess the fighting's pretty close to me, anyway" I said, "catch you later, I6T9, and keep those engines warm".
I stepped out of the recess, and ran down the corridor after the stormtroopers, drawing my blaster as I did so. One of them glanced back, but all he saw was another Imperial officer, ready to join the fray ahead.
Farlo... White Hawk... I heard in my mind. Sha'ara!
I pulled my lightsabre out of its hidden sheaf by my hip, holding the weapon close to my wrist, out of sight, ready to ignite. The sound of blaster fire and the clashing of lightsabre's were getting louder...

OOC: Thought I should mention I've found a site with some good sci-fi erotic stories... http://www.shokushu.com/spacegirl/storyidx.htm
...for the story index page ;)

Sha'ara

Through the blanket of darkness covering my mind, I could sense another presence through the cacophany. Farlo... careful... I warned him. I could sense that Tawain was near and holding me, I tried to reach out to him with my mind, but for some reason I couldn't. Why is that I can't reach Tawain, when he is the one I love? Farlo was very close, I sent him another message through the abyss, Keep a steady hand... may the force be with you Farlo.

ooc: not sure where I'm going with this, but it seems interesting.

Farlo Truan

I entered another large hanger, obviously where Luke and the others had landed. I saw a New Republic ship down one end.
Then, I saw the Tawain, holding Sha'ara in his arms.
And a pile of crumpled clothing... Luke's clothing...
Luke??? my mind reeled. No, he couldn't...
I am, Farlo his voice in my head echoed for a moment, though I have been struck down, I'll be here for you and the others
I blinked a tear quickly from my left eye and ran over, following the two stormtroopers. How come Tawain and Sha'ara had been left there, and were not already in Imperial custody?
They stopped, some 20 metres from my friends, and raised their blasters. I stopped a couple of metres behind them.
"Troopers" I called out, and they lowered their blasters slightly and looked round.
Tawain raised his head to look in our direction. I saw his look of surprise, probably because of the Imperial uniform I was wearing. He flicked on his own lightsabre, and looked ready to leap to his feet, in defence of Sha'ara.
"Sir?" one replied, his voice crackling out from his helmet.
I raised my own blaster and flicked my lightsabre on, spinning it into my palm and grasping it tight.
"Leave them alone!" I shouted, firing at one and slashing out at the other. They both fell, hitting the ground with a clatter almost simultaneously. As they did so, I heard Luke's voice disapproving of my sudden outburst of anger.
"Tawain... is she all right?" I asked, rushing to his side, kneeling down beside him, apologising in my mind to Luke as I did so. Perhap's my outburst wasn't just out of anger...
He looked up at me, then back to her.
"We'll get her out of here, Tawain... what's happened? Where are the others?"

Tawain

ooc: gulp...maybe but I don't like some of the possible evolutions it entails. :(
I can only hope you couldn't reach me because the force was gone...
ic:
"Sh'ara!" Tawain called again, shaking her, trying to bring some life into her. I was no use. With tear-filled eyes, he looked up--and suddenly saw the reason of all the commotion.
"Farlo! Farlo, over here!" he cried, holding up his blue light sabre, hopimh that Farlo would see it.

ooc: I would assume Luke's intensifying the connection between Sha'ara and Farlo, Lightman, at the moment, seems a good reason.

"Zen's onboard somewhere, probably looking for the others now" I said, glancing again at Luke's clothing, lying on the floor nearby.
"But we've got to go... the White Hawk's in another nearby hangar, let's get Sha'ara out of here... and hope Zen gets the others out in time..." I said, softly.
"In time?" Tawain said, still blinking tears from his eyes.
"I've rigged the core with some thermal charges" I said, helping him lift Sha'ara up.
"How did you manage to do that?" he gulped.
I smiled, "With my charming personality" I answered, "no time to explain, we've got to get moving... come on, Sha'ara might need medical attention..."

Tawain

oo:Uh...this looks bad for Drakon...
"Yes, let's hurry...do you have any medical equipment at all on the White Hawk?"

Farlo Truan

"Just a simple medikit, though I'm not really experienced with those things... I6T9 might be able to patch her up, though..." I said, "or we could take her to the medi-centre on this station... I could probably bluff by the guards still, no one seems to have noticed me cutting down those two troopers... and it would get us closer to the detention block, maybe we could risk a little time in trying to find the rest? It could be chancy, though... but hey, no excitement without a little risk, is there?"

Tawain

"Anything to keep Sha'ara alive" Tawain said, slightly more vehemently than he had meant to. As Farlo raised an eyebrow, Tawain gave an embarassed cousg and started to take the armor of one of the fallen Stormtroopers to desguise himself. As he finished, Farlo was still looking at him quizzically.
Tawain cleared his throat and said "Well? Let's get moving. We don't want to be here when the whole thing goes ka-blam!"

Farlo Truan

"OK then, lets go!"
I and Tawain hoisted Sha'ara between them as carefully as we could, and headed off back down the main corridor.
"I think I passed a medi-centre a little while back, this way..." I said.
We passed several Imperial personnel on the route, yet they only threw cursory glances our way.
Finally, we found what we were looking for, and I punched the door access button, and we rushed inside.
"You!" I shouted, to a nearby medi-droid, "tend to her!"
We laid Sha'ara on a nearby empty bunk, and the droid came over.
"Damage to..." it began to drone out.
"Don't bother us with the details, is it serious?"
"No, sir, a few minutes and she will be fine".
"Good"
I and Tawain, in his stormtrooper disguise, stood by nervously as the droid began to tend to her wound.
Soon, I saw her eyelid's beginning to flicker, and we both stepped forward, bumping into each other as we did so.
"Sha'ara?" I said, softly, realising that Tawain too had spoken her name. I glanced at him, smiling slightly.

Tawain

Tawain did not notice Farlo's smile. Actually, he noticed absolutely nothing but Sha'ara, slowly opening her turquoise eyes.
"W...What happened?" she said.
Tawain grinned as relief swept over him. "We wouldn't let you break our agreement." he whipered with a wink. Then his face became serious again.
"So, farlo...what do we do now?"

Farlo Truan

"Well... we either bust out of this station in the White Hawk, or go looking for the others..."
"Sha'ara, what do you think?" I added, as we helped her up.

Zen

After Farlo picked me up I had spent most of the trip meditating in the back. Visions of Luke, Drakon, and three siths flooded through my head all through the trip.

I lost track of time and there was no telling how long the trip was when suddenly Luke's voice came to me "Zen, my time has come and passed. It is you now who must help the others. There will be many tests ahead for all involved but the one who needs you the most is Drakon. He is almost turned to the Dark Side. You must help him."

My mind still filled with doubt I tell him "But Luke I am no hero. I'm just a soldier. I'm not ready."

Then a voice talked to me again, but it wasn't Luke "Ready, no one is."

Startled I asked "Master Yoda? Is that you?"

The voice continued "Me it is indeed. Zen, trained you well I have. Ready for what you must do you will not be. But the only way it is. And proud of the man you have become I am."

Luke cut in "Go now before it's to late Zen. And let the force be with you."

The images left me as my eyes slowly opened. We were already on the Death Star! I pulled out my regular saber then tied the wooden box around my back as I jumped out of The White Hawk.

I ran through the Death Star when an army of Stormtroopers came out of nowhere! The Commander ordered "Surrender now Jedi student and we will give you a quick death. Or else you will suffer like your friends."

I glared at him for that comment as I brought forward my wooden box and opened it. Inside was the saber that Master Yoda gave me when I trained with him. I held it in one hand as I held my normal saber in the other. I looked up at the Stormtoopers "I'm not a Jedi Student."

I turned on both saber's as I charged at them yelling "I am a Jedi Master!"

Countless laser fired at me but were all blocked by my two sabers as I jumped into the middle of the Troopers and went to work! Like I was in a trance my two saber sliced back and forth as the smell or burning metal and flesh assaulted my nostrils! But I wasn't out of control. Just when the last Trooper fell to my saber I looked at myself. Not one laser had hit me during the entire attack.

Then I turned to the leader that I had let live so I could order him "Now commander, where is Drakon?"

OOC: blew up, Renegade? u said it... glad it's the weekend again, might just be able to keep up with this for a while, lol!

Impostor...

Drakon had stood, glaring at the 'Jedi' in the cell with him as he leaned against the wall.

"Answer me! How were you allowed into this cell with your saber?!"

The dark cadet was unstable. He was a caged animal just as much as the beast at the end of the corridor. He yelled at Ganor over the roars. "I will follow you nowhere", he sneered with pure venom.

Do not lose yourself...You are at the edge...

There was the voice again! Ganor thought Drakon was going mad, as he screamed:

"WHO ARE YOU?! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

He had reached his breaking point. It seemed nothing was real. Drakon fell against the corner, holding his head in his hands...
