As for Star Wars. the downfall started long before Disney got their hands on it. If you were ever a fan of the books, you saw the changes happening. They would allow just about anyone write the books, and not hold them to any real character story line. To the point that one book would conflict with another.

I actually liked Solo as well despite the bad reviews. I could have done without the Darth Maul cameo, though.



I want to see them do a bounty hunter story with Boba Fett or IG-88. That would be cool, any of them actually.

Personally, I think the best thing that they can do is to do a series from the the old republic story line. just stay away from the whole. Anakin, and obi wan stories. Lots of good plots there that they haven't touched.

Ah yes. The lovely Athena. Who didn't have a crush on her? There were quite a few lovely ladies in that series. Jane Seymore was gorgeous as well, in her prime, though her role was pretty short. Its too bad there were only a couple of seasons of that show. I wonder why it didn't go further. They had good story lines

I love Star Wars as much as the next fan but Disney is running it into the ground.

Do you think it’s time for Disney to give the franchise a rest?

Fuck it. Let them enjoy it.

My only complaint is that the fat man store insists that all us fatties love star wars movies (as exemplified by their t-shirt collection during movie season +2 years).

Ha! No! But Buck is currently on my DVR schedule to record much to my wife's chagrin! Local cable has some new station for old people. It's the best!
