Having many friends who partake of the SCA (nope, not rennies but honest to goodness period nazis) one must first have the properly fitted corset/bodice. Then, one must know how to SHELF the wares so to speak!

Even your adorable chest would be so splendid in a properly fitted corset and shelfed!

Happily, the belly dancing lessons are coming along nicely.

My dear, long-departed, mother was, in her late 50s, returning to school to get a degree. She pissed off her teenage classmates by blowing the grade curves in all her classes and, after two years in community college, was sporting a 4.0 GPA. Upon a review of her academic achievements by a councellor, it was discovered that she had a Physical Education requirement. For some unfathomable reason, she took belly dancing to fulfill this requirement. I distictly remember saying to her, "Mother, you don't understand! I do NOT want to see you do the Camel Walk. I really DON'T!" The class was her academic undoing, however, as she, despite or because of her best efforts, earned herself a C, thus ruining her perfect 4.0 forever.
