OOC: This is an idea that has been floating around for a while in my head now, of a beautiful young woman who lost her father at a very young age, who desperately wants that sort of relationship again. When her mother remarries, she feels like she has that again. But as time passes, she begins to grow jealous of her mother, who she feels like is trying to take all of her "daddies" love away from her. Hence begins a seduction that draws him to her, to try and make him hers forever. If there is any interest, please send me a PM and we can speak about details and how this should play out.

Randal Thomas (My Character)

Age: 36
Height: 6'6
Build: Broad, muscular, dark tan
Eye Color: Grey
Hair Color: Brown

IC:

As Randal pulled into his driveway, he closed his eyes for a moment, considering his life. Six years ago, he had just turned thirty, was working 8 to 8 every day on the construction site, living in a dingy apartment and living off chinese takeout, fast food, and frozen dinners. He had seemed destined for the life of a bachelor like some of the other guys he knew on the site, spending a good half his paycheck on the local bar drowning himself in the cheapest beer they had.

Then he met Jennifer. It had been the most chance of chance encounters, a one in a million shot. He was driving home from the site one night, the storm that had been building all day finally bursting and spilling buckets of rainwater into the streets, and there she was. She must have hit something truly impressive in the road, because her tire had been shreded almost down to the rim and she was trying desperatly to get the jack under her car so she could put on a spare. A difficult task for a woman that hit perhaps 5'3 and maybe a hundred twenty pounds soaking wet, which she had been by that point.

He had had a LONG day, every muscle in his body ached, and all he wanted to do was go back to his apartment and crack open another beer. But when she slipped and fell into a puddle, looking nearly ready to cry, he knew he couldn't do that. Pulling his pick-up over to the side of the road, he'd gotten out to help her, convincing her to wait in his truck with his heater working and the old blanket he'd left drapped over the cracked and aged leather bench seat of his truck for a modicum of extra comfort as he'd worked to change her tire. She was wary at first. In this day and age, who wouldn't be if a strange man showed up to help you. But by the time he had finished, she seemed to have warmed to him a bit, because when he offered to follow her home to make sure the practically ancient spare held up, she had accepted with barely a moments hesitation.

When she got there, in what he would later discover was a rare, bold move from the woman, she asked to thank him and take him out to dinner sometime. And how could Randal refuse? That single dinner had turned into another date, then another, then another. He found himself becoming more and more attracted to her.

And then the bomb dropped.

When Jennifer had finally invited him into her home one evening, he had been eager to accept. And that's when he met her.

Melody, Jennifer's twelve year old daughter.

At this point most men would have run screaming for the door. And to say Randal hadn't been tempted to do the same would have been a lie. He had never had kids, wasn't even certain if he had even wanted them then. And to suddenly be in a relationship with that sort of "extra baggage" ...

But he'd hesitated in leaving, something he saw in not only Jennifer's eyes, but also Melody as well keeping him there. It was only later that he saw that look for what it had been.

Desperation. The fear that they both would be abandon.

And the longer he had stayed, the more that uncertainty fled. Melody was a sweet, beautiful young girl, probably the brightest kid he had ever seen. She had asked him so many questions about work, seemed so fascinated by anything he told her about creating the office buildings, shopping malls, and homes he built. Before the night was even over he was opening up to the kid, liking her.

He'd stayed after that night and Melody became a very real part of his and Jennifer's relationship. He would go out with Jennifer alone many nights, but he would also come to see her and Melody, helping the kid out with what he could of her homework, though the kid was smarter then he had been at that age and probably a few years older, watching movies with her, whatever. Days off became almost family outings, going to the zoo or the park or shopping, whatever.

When it had come time to pop the question, Melody seemed perhaps even more happy then her mother did. He could still remember the wedding day with crystal clear recolection, Jennifer beautiful in her wedding dress, Melody just as much in her own dress. He'd called them both his beautiful girls that day and the name had stuck since.

Opening his eyes, he looked at there new suburban home with a smile. After he had married Jennifer, it seemed his luck had turned around. Suddenly he was being promoted, getting new praise, more money to support his family. He had gone from just another laborer on site to site manager in six short years. While he certainly was not a rich man, he was doing FAR better in life, the ranch style home and inground pool around back just one such benefit of that. His wife had long since sold off that little beater of a car she had, but he had kept his old truck, joking with his wife that "Without the heater on this thing, you never would have fallen for me".

The new home, the money, the promotions, that was all one thing. But perhaps his biggest joy in life was coming hom, knowing that his beautiful wife and daughter, for how could Melody be anything less then his after so many years, were there waiting for him.

Getting out of his truck, running a hand through his short, rough, dark brown hair, Randal walked to the door, hearing a faint yipping come through the door that brought a grin to his face. Well, his wife, daughter, and dog waiting for him. Snowball, the little white and brown Malamute pup he had gotten Melody for her 18th birthday last month had been a last minute surprise even to his wife, the pup asleep in the corvette he had bought her wearing a giant red bow when she came out and saw it. When she opened the door and saw the little thing yawning, looking up at her and wagging its tail, her eyes had lit up so bright as she hugged it, running back to hug him tight, gushing thanks to him over and over.

He had gotten into a little tiff with Jennifer afterwards about it. The pup was young, untrained, and since it was a pure breed, expensive. But when he had looked in on her that night, sound asleep in bed with Snowball sleeping on her pillow, such a content smile on her lips, he knew he made the right choice.

How could he say no to her?

Opening up the door, he reached down and gave Snowball a quick scratch behind his ears, smiling at the pup. "Hey there kiddo. Where's your mama and grandma?"

Chuckling as the pup yipped out a response, he loosened the laces on his work boots, kicking them off before taking off its jacket, hanging it on its peg as he called out. "Jennifer, Melody, I'm home!"
