Nobody that didn't have a constant battering ram of put downs for nineteen years can ever understand that it is impossible to ever forget. So what is nineteen years against sixty two? Nothng really ...... a blink of an eye. Easy to say when you are an adult and have never had to walk that path of no escape. I am a Survivor and of that I am proud ...... but still that insecurity gremlin sits on my shoulder whispering 'What if she was right?'
