At the sudden face to face, Lynnira was about ready to pounce on the priest and not in a good way. However, I know this is not exactly a good time for such a confrontation for my new queen. Before she can react, I give a gentle tug on her tail. She scowls a little at the action, glancing back at me. I give a slight shake of my head for a moment before Zetta tells the Priest to lead us back upstairs.
I put my arm around the demoness once more, holding her close to keep her in keep as the priest began to explain the history of the cult. It was a colorful and interesting history in my opinion. Though I did get addressed to answer questions, I simply smiled and let Zetta do the talking. I did believe the cult might have it's uses for my plans, either in getting home or seeing if I could truly be elavated to godhood. That would be a fun thought, but there were probably pitfalls as well.
I also had to keep Lynnira under control or she would end up ruining my plans. Her eyes did have a fire in them as she was quite willing and ready to roast every cultist she could find. That would prove useful later, but not now. Lynnira continued to frown and shook her head when she was asked about a drink or any questions. I chuckled for a moment.
"No, I have no further questions for the time being. Go ahead and fetch the drinks. We'll be in our room."
The priest gave a quick nod before running off. I led the two ladies back to the room where I sat down on the bed. Lynnira was still upset for the time being, leaning against the wall. I gave a smile for a moment.
"Now now my queen. I know you probably want to kill this cult, but they may be useful to us. As the priest mentioned, there are other cults around and you can probably unleash your wrath on them. After all, we don't wish any competition for godhood. Right my ladies?"
