Stranded

Brie Ann

She cursed loudly. She grumbled under her breath as the rain began to pour.
"Figures! Bad enough I am stuck in hell but now it has to rain too!" She stomped off the way he pointed out. Her temper rising.
"How am i supposed to build a big enough signal fire if its raining!?' she stopped and twirled around unexpectedly bumping into Dan.
"Sorry.."
She turned and started stomping again towards where ever it was she was going.
She stopped and looked around, a little lost where she was. And where she was supposed to be going.
She stopped and placed one of her hands on her hip, glaring up at the offending rain fall. This was just perfect, another shitty factor to ruin her mood even more.
"I found a pool of fresh water, would be good to bath in, drink whatever. Though we shouldnt bath in it, if we are going to be drinking it. like we can bath anyways.. No soap in this place. Not like there is going to be room service either." She sighed, this was a nightmare, one she wished she would wake up from. She looked down at her arm. Pinching herself hard until it hurt she finally accepted she was awake. She walked away from where Drew, Aaron, and Rebecca sat. Her temper flaring up, she wasn't good company.

Even as the rain began to fall he was walking along the beach, his shirt had been taken off to keep what he had caught, so far only 6 crabs. it would be enough to give everyone a little something to eat, but with the rain... he doubted if the fire was still going strong, even if it had been partaily concealed by the tree tops. his cain was becoming less and less of a help, bad weather always gave him difficulties in the wlaking department, but it had also brought out more crabs.he figured he had come about a mile from where the camp was set up, hoping they would have taken shelter in the rain. He could feel bone grinding bone in his knee atleast for the moemnt he didn't have to worry about the others, but more of how to getmimself out of the rain so not to catch his death, He waided into the feild of crabs, an managed another four, to make his total 10. turning to look back the way he had come... teeth gritted with each step taken. but food was food, and he had promised himself as well drew before leaving he would be getting food. he just hoped they had the means to cook it now.

Aaron Baker

it seemed to take hours in the rain to make it back to camp, each step taken brough another shot of pain through out his legs.. the fire had mostly died.. save for the few flames that still flickered here and there... he couldn't even finish the journey into the camp befor ehis legs gave out on him, and he fell face forward into the sand.. rolling slowly to his back, he sat up.. gripping his knees with a grimace.. eyes closedand teeth gritted a deep breath drawn in and released.. "God damnit... mmm god that hurts "

he sat there about 10 yards from the camp.. rubbing his knee's letting the rain wash down over his body.. he couldn't bring himself to stand... or look back towards the camp.. he hated showing weakness like this.

Brie Ann Foster

She heard someone yell out, "God Dammit!" She turned and looked just a few feet from her. Aaron was on the ground? What had happened to him? She stood up and ran over, "Aaron? Are you ok?" She reached down to help him stand up. She had forgotten his limp and cane until she seen him on the beach. He must have injured his knee or something. Well it was what he was holding, so that made it apparent. She was just not all there today. Sometimes she zoned out too damned much.
She bent down and watched, what could she do?
"Do you need to massage the muscles or something Aaron?" She looked at him, a little worried there wasnt anything she could do for the pain.

Dan finally propped himself against a tree. The huge leaves provided as much shelter as could be expected on the island. He tipped the banana towards the tree, thanking it for it's help, and then peeled it slowly.
Personally, he hadn't had a banana in years. It was good though, filling, and tasted fairly decent. He dove into a second one, once the first was done. With that, he saved the bushel, waiting patiently.
Once this rain died down, there were things to be done, lots of things.
As for now he could wait and relax. His body forced him too, aches and cramps slowly came to him, he realized he had walked for the better part of 24 hours. Now he could afford to let himself rest.
So much to do.

Aaron Baker

he looked up to brie with a slight smile and soft shake of his head, and putting on his best smile he removed the shirt that was tied into his belt loop, all the crabs caught with his spear had been stuffed into the shirt-made bag " food for when we can get the fire going better a little fresh meat will do us good "

Brie Ann

She glanced down at the crustacean's he had bundled up. All were hermit crabs, but one. Tossing it away, she smiled at him.
"That will be perfect, but for future knowledge, the only crabs we can eat without boiling them alive are hermit crabs and horse shoe crabs. Lobsters we can eat if they die on their own, no stabbing them. Or they will poison us.." She stood up, picking up the bundle and using her other arm to help him rise. They slowly made their way back down the beach to the others. She sat down placing the crabs away from her, incase any where still alive and in a nasty mood today. She turned to Rebecca, she just looked like she woke up.
"How's it going?" She smiled a friendly smile down at her, then turned to Dan. "What are we going to do to get off this god foresaken island? Any ideas guys?" She glanced around at each person, Drew was asleep still, so she ignored him. Aaron still looked like he was in pain, and Rebecca appeared lost as she felt. She glanced again at Dan, who sat eating a banana.
"We have to do something.."

Drew

Rolling over he heard Brie
"We have to do something.."

"Well, we could work on finding food. And I was thinkin' as long as we don't bathe in the pond or whatever you want to call it, we could clean up downstream a bit. Keep the other water clean for us to drink." Shaking the cobwebs out of his head, he stood up.

"As far as getting off the island. We could collect rocks and write help or SOS on the sand. Or start a big fire or something like that."

Rebecca

I had awoke to the feel of the cool rain falling upon my body, listening to the hissing of each drop that found it's way to the smoldering fire. Slowly pulling myself to sit I looked around me to see the man that had gone to search the island for other human life, sitting there eating a banana, Drew was sleeping and Brie Ann and Aaron...oh there they were walking back from the beach.

I was curious as she sat down and set a bag down a distance from her, "What had they found." I thought silently as she asked me how it was going. "Alright I guess considering the circumstance." I felt even more lost than before as she asked if any of us had any ideas. All of this was new to me.

"Whatever we do we shouldn't spend a lengthy amount of time in the ocean, searching for food or otherwise, we have a silent predator lurking about. I am sure his appetite is appeased for now but won't be for long." My hands began to tremble at the thought of what had happened, seeing him just vanish within the water.

I reached up and moved my fingers up to prob at the cut that had occurred from the crash. It was still tender but at least it had closed.

"Brie Ann....you spoke of finding water yesterday, could you possibly point me in the right direction. I could use a drink and I think I need to get this cut cleaned up a bit."

Brie Ann

She stood up and dusted off her bottom. Sand lightly falling down her legs, she stretched.
"Come with me Rebecca, I'll show you where it is.. get that cut cleaned up.." She waited for Rebecca to stand and she led the way down the beach to the path and along the path. Both were silent until they reached the water fall.
"There it is. Fresh water. I'll wait for you, and then help you clean that cut up.." She walked with Rebecca to the pool and got a drink herself. Sitting on a boulder she watched at Rebecca drank.
"Not too much it could make you sick, over drinking.."

Dan sighed, folding up his map. Poorfools, thinking they could just signal for a rescue plane and it would come. It wouldn't happen, he might had been drunk at the time, but even he knew they were in that storm for a long time. They were easily hundreds of miles away from where any rescue mission might launch.
Their only way of survival right now was to keep themselves alive. Just pray that a charter ship or a fishing boat would wander close enough for them to get their attention.
It would be hopeless though, good bye civilization, hello dreary island.
"I think I'm going to get a drink," he announced, to no one in particular.

Rebecca

I stood slowly, finding it to be much easier than it had last night, and followed Brie. My eyes wandered the scenery as we made our way, the only sounds to be heard were the gentle falling of the rain on the canopy of trees above us and the sound of our feet moving over the land beneath them.

I gave her a warm smile as we reached the water. "Thank you." I knelt down in the sand at the edge of the pool, cupping my hands together I dipped them in the water and brought them to my lips. The water was cool and refreshing to my parched lips and soothing to my throat as it passed by both, I drank fast trying to cure my bodies thirst, stopping when she told me not to drink to much that it would make me sick. With that I splashed the remaining water over my face.

I looked around me trying to spot something to wet down to clean myself up but found nothing, suddenly I realised that I had a tank top on beneath my other shirt. Unbuttoning it I removed it and firmly gripped the material pulling until it gave way. Ripping a good sized piece from it I let the rest of the shirt fall to a heap on the ground beside me. I ran it through the water and rung it out a little and began to clean what I could, taking a guess at where the blood and dirt was lingering.

"You know Brie I know we are stuck on an island that doesn't seem to have any civilization and seemingly no way off of it, but isn't it beautiful?" I fumbled some more with trying to clean up, it wasn't working well at all. "Umm.....could you give me a hand here?"

Brie Ann

She smiled at Rebecca's words.
"Yes, it is beautiful here, But if we dont do something soon we may be stuck here for life. And we maybe dying soon too. We got water, but food? Shelter? The tropical weather can be deadly. Plus we dont know what kind of poisonous creatures are on the island. Its just one of those things you never want to really happen.. " She stood and walked over to where Rebecca knelt on the sandy area. Taking the torn material from her hand, she wet it down and tipped up Rebecaa's face. Studying the cut on her forehead, she mumbled, "It isnt too deep. Just nasty looking.." She carefully washed it free of the dirt and other things.
"There, it should be alright. Keep an eye out for Aloe. It may help your cut heal."
She turned to look at the water, then cupped some up and washed off her face as well. Turning she heard footsteps coming towards them.
Dan came through the trees to the water and halted,
"Hi Dan.." She sat in silence for a moment. She didn't know what else to say so she fell silent. Glancing around for a second, she excused herself from Rebecca and Dan. Standing she walked around the water fall area. Glancing around. Perhaps there was a cave somewhere? She just thought about that. If they could find one, a dry, unoccupied cave they might be ok. The rain was still falling, and it looked as if a worse storm was coming.

There were all kinds of sicknesses around you could catch from this weather, and she didn't want to be sick on an island with no doctor.

"I.. ummmm. .. I'm going to go check out the mountain.. Perhaps I can find something dry to sleep in? We shouldn't be in this weather too much. And the hut thing Aaron made isn't going to stop the elements..." She turned towards Rebecca and Dan.
"I'll see what I can find. I just cant sit around here waiting for sickness and stuff to set in. I'll return before night fall.." She picked up a fallen stick and used it as a walking stick. She started through the trees, not sure where she was heading exactly, but she could see the mountain on the Island, so she headed that way.

Dan looked down at the water, looking at it carefully. Well, it wasn't the best in the world, but still it was the only thing they had. In all honesty they should boil it though.
Nothing to boil it in.
No pots, no pans, no nothing.
Sighing, Dan checked the ground around the water. Pure soil, no sand at all. That's what he had been checking all along, as soon as the forest begins, the sand fades away to fertile soil. That could help them greatly in the future.
Especially since they might be here a long while.
"Those guys still think a fire is going to solve everything," he said, leaning down against the water's shore and taking a huge drink.
"Listen, are you going to use that shirt at all? There's a bunch of shallow pools on the other side, and I couldn't help but noticing a few animals playing around there. Perhaps we could grab a few."
He looked at her wound.
"Unless of course, you don't feel up to it."

Brie Ann

She wandered along the lush tropical forrest. Looking at all the sights and listening to the sounds around her. If it wasn't for the crash, this place would be perfect. She found no trails to follow other than animal trails, so she kept along those. Higher and higher she climbed around the bottom of the moutain. Looking for some sign of a cave. There were deep crevises, but no caves so far. Deciding to go lower, she tracked back down the opposit side everyone was on. Walking along the beach, she climbed over what looked like old lava rocks until she found what she was looking for. Water washed in towards the opening, but stopped about ten feet away.
"Oh yes Perfect!" She leaned over the side, peering into the blackness. But was it dry inside? Was it empty? She didn't know. There could be anything from bat's to who knows what else in there. And she didn't have a flash light on hand. Everything was wet, herself included. She sighed and looked around the area, committing it to memory. She would come back with a torch of some kind later and explore it.
She glanced around again, perhaps she should find some food? She wandered back into the forrest, the canopy of green soon hid her from view of anyone or anything near by.
She was miserable though, her pants were wet. Her shirt and shoes too. Even her hair was plastered to her head. Sitting down on a rounded boulder she looked straight up at the sky, "come on God, give us a break here.."
She pleaded, but she knew it wasn't going to happen. Something moving caught her eye, her head turning instantly in that dirrection, she saw a parrot of some kind. Sitting on a berry bush, eating away.
her stomach growled in protest, she was starving too. If a bird could eat it and live, so could she.
Walking over, she pulled out her shirt and began to gather berries in the make shift pouch. Once she had a hand full she walked over and sat on the boulder once again. She glanced down at the berry, "Here goes nothing.." If it killed her at least she was done and over with, and if it didn't she was full.
She popped one into her mouth and chewed. Swallowing she waited for something. But nothing happened.
"Good.."
She ate the whole handfull and sat back. Her stomach now full, and her mind calmed. Nothing was happening to her, so they would be safe to eat for everyone. She grinned, this made the day a little brighter.
She stood up and began to walk around the mountain once more. Heading back towards where everyone else was, was the best idea. After ten minutes had past, she began to feel heated. Was she coming down with a cold? Or was it the berries? She didnt know, but she sat down.
Everything started tingling all over. She glanced around, she was still too far from the others to call out for help. She ran her hands up and down her thighs, wiping away the sweat and the tension. Though it did not work. Even her hands started to tingle. Her brow furrowed in this reaction, it wasn't like it was numb or anything, but more like erotic sensations coming over her?
She stood again, intending to walk towards the beach, but she gasped in a shocking revealation. Her clit throbbed painfully with desire. She sat back down instantly, but this time hard on the ground. She moaned out, from the hard impact on her ass, and the near itching sensation in her center. She gripped her hands in fists, her nipples perked up tightly inside her cold shirt.
"What the fuck is going on!??!" She fairly growled as her breathing picked up, she ran her fingers down the seam of her jeans over her crotch. Her hips lifting and her lips parting as her eyes closed in bliss.
"Oh my god!" She panted out and rubbed up and down once more harder. It felt too good to stop herself, and no one was around to hear her anyways.
"Those berries??" She mumbled as she moaned again, her head falling back on the rock behind her. She lifted her hips again and rubbed herself against her hand. She could feel the heat all over her body intensify further, she was shaking when she reached her 501's to unbutton them. Cursing, she couldnt get the buttons undone in this condition. She finally got her pants parted and her hand shot down her pants. Instantly she plunge two fingers into her heated tormented sex. She bucked against her own hand, and cried out. Her orgasm instant as soon as she plunged inside. Her hand became coated with her nectar as she worked her hand furiously in and out of herself.
Her moaning grew and grew until she exploded again. Her panting was almost animalistic in sound by now, her heels digging into the ground as she relieved her torment.
She didnt know how long she went at it, or how many orgasms she had. But when she finished her whole body was weak and sweaty. Her arms shook, her thighs trembled, everywhere she was spent. She lay there just panting in and out, trying to understand this strange reaction?
She was on a stranded island, close to death.. and she was all of the sudden horny as hell? She ran her tingling tongue across her lips. No, she wasn't horny.. Those berries did that to her. They had to have done it. There was no logical explanation for it otherwise.
She weakly stood up and leaned against the rock, trying to make her fingers function enough to rebutton her pants. She was soaked now. With her own juices and the rain. She needed to wash off. Herself and her clothes. She glanced around, the forrest silent now except for a now and then bird call. Turning back the way she came, she headed towards the cave. The ocean was there, she could at least wade in and rinse off. Or better yet the stream. That was perfect.. She glanced back towards the trail she followed here.
Those berries were better left unmentioned..
She walked until she heard the waterfall, she came out above it. The water falling over the cliff below. She sat down in the water, and moaned out again. The cooler water helped with the ache in her center. She was still humming its tune, even after all that masturbation.

he swallowed hard, his throat dry seirra deserteyes closed as he leaned back against the tree trunk, the rain was no longer a bother to him, and he let it wash down him freely as his head slumped down, eyes closed as a yawn slipped past lips. In a soft whispered tone came the words, "I'm not feeling to good.. "

with his lack of sleep, his knee hurting, plus not having a single pair of dry clothes.. the elements were begining to take their effect on him. A shiver racked his form curling up into the fetile position a ragged breath was released, the fire was so near to dead, its heat was none existant. forehead rested to knee's, that swollen tongue parted lips to moisten them.. as if they needed it from the rain, his head tilted back with a loud groan. and he opened his mouth to allow some of the rain water to fill it to be swallowed.. eyes remained closed as his head fell back down, and with the use of his cain and the tree trunk he pushed to his feet, one of the spears he had made for everyone there taken into hand as he began off towardsfresh water that was siad to be found. a nod given down to drew... "I'll be back.. need some water.. "

Aaron Baker

He had made it most of the way down the trail.. though he was more staggering and stumbling than walking.. eyes closed as he took to leaning against a tree.. his breath ragged.. and coming in short gasps.. coughing he tried to swallow once more... pushing off the tree he began to stumble forward once more.. feet dragging on the ground.. leaving a clear trail of where he was coming from.. he could see the waters just ahead... just out of reach.. again he stepped forward, toe striking a root, and he fell face forward.. head bounced of the ground much like a basketball.. all was still, except for the slow steady rising and falling of his back with each breath drawn in

Rebecca

I watched her walk away, silently thanking her for her kindness. She seem to have a determination about her as she made her way through the trees and plants that littered the island floor.

I cupped my hands and dipped them in the water again, taking one more and splashing the rest over my face. As I turned to look at Dan my hand came up and pulled the lock of red curls, that dandled before my eyes, back behind my ear.

"My shirt....?" It was more of a question than a statement. I picked it up from the ground beside me, looking at it in confusion. "Sure, why not. If that sun ever comes back out I won't need it for much. I don't know that I will be of much help but I am up for it, besides there is not much else to do."

I figured at this point, maybe I could learn a thing or two, maybe be of some use. Handing him the shirt I pushed myself to stand, stretching all my sore muscles as I did. I waited for him to stand and lead the way, following him my thoughts wandered to think of my ex-husbands idea of roughing it, a slight giggle escaped me as I realized just how he would react if he were in this situation.

“Umm….Dan right? Tell me why you are not all enthused at everyone’s ideas and expectation of a fire.”

Drew

Deciding he needs some water too, he makes his way up the trail, looking around and whistling to himself he almost trips on Aaron before he notices him on the ground.

"Aaron! What happened???" Lifting him up off the ground he pulls him to the water, splashing water on his face, trying to wake him, then cupping water in his hands and trying to see if he'll drink it.

"HEY!!! HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPP!"

Brie Ann

She heard one of the guys call for help and stood up. The cooling water eased all the effects of the berries, finally. She jumped down the edge of the hillside until she reached Drew and Aaron.
"What's wrong with him?" She asked as she came to a halt up next to them. Kneeling down she felt for a pulse.
"He's still alive" She glanced around, then spotted the knot on his temple. Touching his forehead she felt the heat.
"He's sick, and he hit his head. Should get him to a covered area, and see if we can figure out how to warm him up.. Perhaps cover him with some big leaves.." She glanced around looking for something to warm Aaron.

Aaron Baker

he groaned softly as brie and Drew worked over him trying to bring him back to the real world... but he was to deep into the sickness... and with the head injury.. he had fallen into a deep slumber.. dreaming of home.. of his tim eon cornell's foot ball team and even spoke aloud " alright fella's coach called Wild cats.. Jason your comin in with me.. we need a fumble.. two minutes left.. were down by 3.. we cant afford to let them score again.. ready? Break " he scene was playing through his mind again.. the tackle he made.. recovering the foot ball.. getting up and running for the touch down.. he saw the men coming at him, and in his mind he lept into the air to make the touchdown... he did... he scored the game winning point.. he screamed aloud in pain at the memory that seemed to be happening again.. lifting up in his slumber to grab at his leg.. they didn't see what he did.. they didn't see the crimson red coating his padding.. the bone sticking from the skin.. he had won the game for them.. but at the cost of what? his ability to walk.. slowly.. he lay back down.. sobbing as a new born child..

"Well," he hear dsomething behind them, it could have been mistaken for a cry for help, but was probably just one of the weird birds on the island, calling for a mate.
"Look around, what do you see?"
He bent down, scooping up some dried leaves and twigs.
"Now, this stuff is good to start a fire, yes, but what about a nice big bonfire, you need something else?"
They passed over a fallen log, one that Dan patted many times, "This'll work perfectly, but it'll last about ten hours before it's nothing more than ash. So, we'll need more trees"
He let his arms spread wide around the forest.
"Look at all this fuel, right? Wrong. First of all, they are all living. After they are cut down, it'll take at least a weak before they are dried out enough to burn."
He took out his letter opener, "And did you bring your hatchet on our little outing? No, I didn't think so? We've got no tools to cut down trees. So, instead of preserving what little wood we have for future fires during the night, we'll use it all up to signal for a rescue plane that isn't coming."
Helping her over a big rock, they finally emerged out to the point of sand where he spent last night.
"There we are, the tide pools."
Of course, now they weren't tide pools, but the ocean's edge. Wave after wave crashed into the cliffe, causing spray to rise out of the water.
"Well, we've got a few hours before they are tide pools again. You want to search more around this island, or..."
The sun had finally decided to come out, letting it's warmth come out amongst the castaways.
"..Well, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind a short swim, as long as we stay close to shore..."
He took off what was left of his shoes.

Aaron Baker

silence fell.. a warm breeze washed over the waters before them as the sun peaked from the clouds.. eyes opened slowly.. he smiled... and sat up shaking his head a single hand lifted to touch the bump on his temple.. he winced.. but the chuckled shaking his head ocne more.. " I won the game "

A chuckled followed... " I won the game... "

That smile only widdened rolling to his side he pushed up and to his feet slowly.. " Anyone know what I was doing? Thats right I was thristy.. I'ma get a drink.. oh... and horse shoe grabs.. those are the things with the big hum shells right? Think we could boil in one of those? I think it might be worth a try.. if nothing more than cooking something over and open fire.. What was I doin again? "

Brows furrowed and he bit his lip " Oh yea.. water... "
and he began towards the waters as if nothing had happened.. he had a slight limp.. but nothing like it had been..

Drew

Chuckling he says "Won the game huh?? Get some of that water in you, looks like you hit your head pretty good there man."

Watching as he takes in some water "You okay man?" Still watching as I follow suit and have a few sips of my own.

Aaron Baker

"My head? Huh? oh.. oh yea.. I'm aight.. yea... " He nodded as if to reassure himself.. kneeling down at that waters edge to cup hads together and sip at the water slowly.. lifting up to streach.. he winced onec more as that smae hand lifted to touch the bump on head... it was as f nothing had happened.. the dream.. the tears.. he hadn't known of them... probably for the best... brows furrowed down as he gave a look around.. coming to stand..

"So umm.. what are we doing out here again? "
