The text on the bottom row is partially clipped. None of the alleged deaths on the top row were said to be determined as lynchings. Two of them were said to be suicides, the other three were being investigated for lynchings.

Despicable acts of racism do occur in America. Drawing attention to those acts, condemning them, and bringing perpetrators to justice is a responsibility all decent human beings share.

But sharing memes created by anonymous internet trolls motivated by a need for attention and perhaps to drive fear and division is not helpful.

Come on! Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.
