Strange Story Idea

This is something that came to mind after working on a my eyes only story.

Older Man/younger woman, he CA, her South Africa, meet on Facebook. She has a complex life and an obsession-connection with an abusive rich man--rich enough to get away with things. They are however on and off. During the time between, MCs become increasingly close as friends, the fall in love without seeing each other IRL Abuser finally does something so egregious in front of witnesses that all his lawyers can't keep him out of prison, but get him shorter term.She is in mortal peril when he gets out. Normally, MMC would just go to SA but money tight and SA is not safe for her. he has just enough $ to fly her to CA They marry quickly not realizing the legal issues. He goes back to work to support her while she heals. When she applies for a green card, she is detected for presumed visa marriage. immigration judge never give relief all he cares about is the letter of the law never tears up, or shows any emotion by the time he's heard enough of the story wants to hear all, and at end,is crying his eyes out---bends the law beyond recognition to grant relief. age gap is such that it is scandalous in CA. more element to come. many fantastic and semi-miraculous elements.

Rich premises, beyond a typical erotica story. Where do you want to take this? What will be the conclusion? Happy end? Tragedy?

Happy but with huge obstacles in the way. Important story point: FMC has no racist attitudes so most like born post-Apartied, Dying 90-yo MMC tells well documented story in retrospect for from imagined future.

Tell your story and it will find its audience. A 90 year old MMC though? What's your reasoning there?

Okay, I get it. That sounds like an interesting idea.
Then you should. I came here to Lit to write just one story. A true story about the woman who took my virginity.
Doing so was a terrific experience, and the readers have been very appreciative. Writing something that important to you always makes the story better and readers will get that.
