I have often wondered what a "bump" is. I read a comment sometimes where one person gives another a "bump", and it seems to be like what I would call a "well done" or an "attaboy", or a pat on the back, but these others have some standing, being usually given out by supervisors.

the bump is to put the thread back out onto the first page of the whole forum. It is said and almost fact that if it is out in front that it will be seen and commented on more frequently, if it is worth commenting on indeed. I feel this thread is!

There may be alot that are hiding or already have men that do this for them so they don't need to look -per say. I am not hiding it but only on Lit....
