Stuff from an author's notebook.

I don't actually have an author's notebook, so I'm very glad this thread is here.

I composed this for no particular reason while waiting for hubby in the parking lot of a liquour outlet.

He was dressed in bermuda shorts and a tee shirt. His arms and legs were pleasantly muscular. His face was handsome and his hair salt and pepper. The curve of his torso from bottom rib to hip bones was slightly rounded, as befit a person of dignity and authority, not flat like a callow youth.
