I've noticed how many sexy people on here instantly turn me off as soon as i see them with an item of clothing on (the array of disgusting shorts and t-shirts tucked into high waisted jeans amazes me). Are there any stylish people on lit? Emo's are particularly welcome to apply :-D

I like to think i'm pretty stylish, however I don't ever post. Most of my clothing is Brooks Brothers, Polo, Banana Republic, etc (lots of pique cotton, linen, denim, seersucker, canvas shoes). Not quite Emo by a long shot, but hey...at least it's not a t-shirt tucked into "mom jeans" (which would be all the more disturbing since im a guy)

Here you go...sorry for the crappy quality, the mirror was dirty and it's not in my house.

taste...

has nothing to do with brand name.

aesthetic can be learned, but one must first posses a modicum of self
respect and be motivated enough.

Indeed it has nothing to do with brand name, I merely was listing brand names since the ones I listed bring up a mental image of my style of dress. I never shop based on the brand, but on how the clothes fit and the desired style.

Must be a southern boy

Thanks for sharing but um, what is that in your belt? :-S

Down here in the Southeastern United States, a young man without any record of bad behaviour is very nearly obliged to get a permit, dress well (preferably in Brookes Brothers'), and carry a piece. It looks like M is carrying a Glock (.45? looks a bit thick for a 9mm . . .) based on the molded black grip and black finished, squared off slide.

northern boy transplanted to south Florida. Good eye coolhand, it's a Glock 23 (.40, but you know that).

LOL

It's so cute how you put emo and stylish together in the same paragraph.

Sigh

Thanks anyway to the people who made an effort. I had hoped that i would get a load of people posting on here that looked like regular fashionable people that i might bump into in college. And yes i did put emo and stylish in the same sentence - try visiting a city that's not in the mid west of america once in a while and observe people under the age of 30, it is a very popular look!

That is less stylish and more absolutely fucking terrifying.

If I may inquire as to what is terrifying about a properly trained and licensed, law abiding citizen exercising their constitutional right to carry a weapon?

Don't worry, no guns this time :)

I think many of the posters on here are "regular people" in regards to their manner of dress, however, traditional style and a trendy fashion (such as emo, alt., goth, grunge) are two very different things. When I think of the word stylish I picture classic Americana: suits, polo with linen or khaki pants, etc. The word means something different to everyone.

In any case, I apologize if the previous photo offended, but I don't feel that it should. Oh well.

Here is another photo, perhaps more what you were looking for?

Not a damned thing, hon. I own a piece, myself. Although not concealed permit. I just keep it in my car. Some people think just because they don't like firearms that no one should own them

Well yeah. I mean, that's just common sense, right?

It's not like it's written in any document or something that we should have the right to own a gun, right?

nothing

I don't own one myself, and doubt I ever will, but there's really nothing wrong with a pistol. It's just a neat little machine.

Sorry to everyone who has reacted so defensively to my gun comment, i didn't mean any offence- i am not American so was just totally shocked that something like that would be allowed on the forum and even more so that someone would think it was ok to pose with one. Sorry again. Returning to the topic: plentyngood your thread is fantastic and just what i was craving, thanks hun xxx
