Greta is very inspirational...I think her illness plays into her tenacity to stick with an issue. She started a movement from just standing alone on a corner day after day protesting environmental issues.

She said to the UN what a lot of us think. Unfortunately, our planet is dying from human actions. All credible research shows this and I didn't really need it to see it...it's a local phenomenon now and has been visible since the 90's. Nothing like a global pandemic to show everyone how bad things are on a daily basis...i.e. air quality improved to levels not seen since 1800 across the globe in April 2020.

Oh well, I've "heard" that China controls the weather now and that is way more important to some than what a young, tenacious activist is saying about global climate change.

She is, as has been pointed out correctly, only a kid and so her view is passionate and way more limited than how I think about environmental issues. I don't agree with everything she says or does and yet I still support what she is doing. This is called...

I'll give you another example, green buildings, "leed" certified, are also an issue with me. They are way more costly to run than a more traditional modern building, use way more toxic components and don't really compute towards achieving a green end goal.

Mr Roger's had it right, turn the thermostat down, put on a sweeter or light jacket in your house or business and sit on your hands. This is way more green and environmental than spending millions and millions of dollars on engineers and fancy building designs.

I digress...the mistake you all and your counter parts are making is by projecting on to each other and lumping everyone you disagree with as thinking in the "same camp".
