suck it, greta haters-

Example:

Look at what the exploitation of Michael Jackson produced...

 :(

Some 'killer' albums and a dead, fucked-up child prodigy.

It makes me think that her supporters don't really care about Greta as much as the cause...

Exactly is your qualifier...
It is your sly way of trying to have an out
which belies the tenor and scope of your posts in this thread.

Always with the left.......

Leftist: Abolish ICE/CBP!!! End all deportations!!!

Sane people: So you want open borders??

Leftist: I never said that!!!

Leftist: I want to nationalize healthcare, insurance, banking, agriculture, energy and transportation/logistics!! Every other industry/buisness will be collectivized as at least a majority ownership must be by employees. Sole proprietorships and private property need to be abolished.....the state will provide your needs.

Sane people: So you're a communist.

Leftist: NU UHHH!!! I'm a "Progressive"!!! By getting society to realize they need to shed their old ideals, habits, customs and culture we can progress into a more equitable future for all!!

Sane people: Oh sorry, a Maoist!

Leftist: PROGRESSIVE DAMN IT!!! Just because I advocate for damn near everything Mao did, that doesn't make me a Maoist! You're crazy!!! Alt-Reich!! NAZI!!

Is that why Laurel keeps banhammering AJ, Kkkonager and the BBs?

No....they just shouldn't be taken seriously in their advocating GLOBAL energy policy when they just barely figured out how to wipe their own ass.

BUTT!!!!

If you want to get behind an autistic teen girl and her political message of "Kill billions! " then by all means......right in line with your politics.

Is that why Laurel keeps banhammering AJ, Kkkonager and the BBs?

Maybe....if so she should post "No posting of truths that offend the left." in her TOS, at least then the bans would make sense.

Winston Churchill said it many decades ago: "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else."

America will eventually stop flying, stop driving SUVs, stop air conditioning, stop buying huge suburban houses, stop buying fast food and drinks in disposable plastic containers, and many other wasteful habits, but later. Not now. That would be inconvenient.

If it works for Laurel, why not the rest of the world.

Or are you saying Laurel is a bad person?

The usual suspects(sociopaths) attacking miss Thunberg.

Not surprising.

A sociopath couldn't begin to comprehend why she cares about anything other than her own immediate comfort and well being.

They hate her because her compassion and selflessness make their sociopathic viewpoints look petty and self serving.

A sociopath will NEVER understand Greta Thunberg.

Greta Thunberg has far more dignity and gravitas than the entire Republican Party combined.

That has to be a constant source of embarrassment for Trump and the "grand OLD party".

A young girl schooling them on how to be a human being.

She is an icon.
agreed

aspergers has given her the ability to focus and learn on this specific issue and she's not shutting up just because someone wants her to. what's been made of her actions (on either 'side') doesn't affect her opinions which she bases on the kind of information few (if any) have here

She is clearly a figurehead put up front by others. What the hell would a little girl like her know about the world, life or anything? its ridiculous.

Have you ever noticed how she/they never protest China's polluting? only the west. Very telling.
yes, she's young. she knows more about the problems climate issues cause than you. you dismiss her because of her age, her gender, and the problems she's experienced in the past with mental health. aspergers is a condition; it doesn't make her incapable but, rather, sharpens and drives her focus and ability to learn on a more narrow range of topics than generally experienced by non-autistic people. an issue, in this case, that concerns her greatly. her view is clearer than yours on this. her eating problems were no doubt driven by not being understood (re her aspergers) and depression isn't unusual in someone with aspergers given what they contend with; also, seeing with such intense clarity the problems faced-- due to the world's unwillingness to deal effectively with climate issue--is enough to inspire depression even in those not dealing with actual medical depression.

She might have that as well. But they were talking about her on the radio and said her parents said she was mentally ill.

You are correct.

i'd respectfully suggest you educate yourself on aspergers, jada. and this (below) from the article you link to:

Thunberg’s parents say their daughter, once painfully introverted, was always a bit different to other children. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with Asperger’s, on the autism spectrum, which helps explain her remorseless focus on the core issue of climate change after overcoming depression. “Being different is a gift,” she told Nick Robinson when interviewed on Radio 4’s Today programme. “It makes me see things from outside the box. I don’t easily fall for lies, I can see through things. If I would’ve been like everyone else, I wouldn’t have started this school strike for instance.”

She admitted her passion was partly down to viewing the world in stark terms. The result of her simplistic approach, fuelled by her condition, is that she has presented this issue with more clarity and competence than almost any adult activist or politician in recent years. And there is something rather beautiful in hearing this teenager demonstrate by her actions how society is stronger when it embraces difference – a message that seems so pertinent to our troubled age. Indeed, this aspect of her stance as a now-public figure on the autism spectrum is arguably as important as her bold stand on climate change, given many prevailing attitudes.

Bottom line. She donated the money she won to a cause she believes in. Period.

How much money have those that talk down on her here donated to a cause they believe in?
That's right. You know the answer. Yet...this is their life...criticizing a kid on a porn board. That will surely influence other human opinions. Lol. Fucking losers.
this

and let's not forget those deeply opposed to her (politicians/manufacturers/those most heavily contributing to polluting/driving man's effect on global warming) will be the same people most heavily invested in denying her message and discrediting her as a spokesperson

the ignorance displayed by those who (no surprises) fall within the republican-right-leaning people here is both expected and sad
those who know better will cast aspersions for their own interests, while those who just don't understand asperbergers will believe that shill

someone with aspergers isn't always brilliant, or able to rise above to become the face of a movement that exists beyond their personal influence, and when they focus on an issue they are not always right in their formed opinions.
what is safe to say, however, is that given their focus and drive they are far more likely to have researched far more information (from a breadth of sources) and dug deeply into their chosen interest in a manner few non-autistic-spectrum people will ever find the passion to.

this makes them more informed, able to consider a way broader mass of data and have a more complete understanding than the general person. given the information she receives is drawn from around the world, from the sciences and scientists who know, from the boots on the ground who report back the effects and changes and trends? this makes her VERY well informed. It also means she's basing her opinions on the information of experts, not just something she's plucking out of thin air.

Probably the thing that they will understand the least is that she has already started giving the money away. It's all being donated to organisations dedicated to the fight against climate change.

they'll no doubt take it as confirmation of her 'mental illness'

Hil- fucking-arious! Rather than present ANY scientifically based arguments about climate change, rather than take issue with what she says, those who do not agree with a preponderance of the data (that supports the progression of climate change and the human impact on that progression) )spend the entire thread personally attacking a 16 year old that has the audacity to have an opinion and stand up for that opinion.

Yep, ya'll are definitely gunna show everyone how climate change isn't real with that tactic.

The job of the board Trumpettes, as viewed by them, is to pull chains and be as despicable as possible.

She has aspergers, ocd and selective mutism. None of those has anything to do with her intelligence or cognitive abilities.

Where is Trump's?

Do they give a Nobel for which world leader fucked up their country the most? Cause if they do, Trump is a shoe in....:D

Obviously, they give it to people who don't and haven't ever done a thing.

Hey....you're eligible!

This, and also to post under as many different usernames as possible so as to avoid the inevitable banning which they typically deserve.

As if donating to a cause you believe in is somehow inherently noble??

I donated to TRUMP! Does that make me as noble as Greta???

LOL.....losers shouldn't throw rocks from glass houses.

Especially the low budget sugar glass kind like yours. :D

Why are leftist so fucking bad at putting together an argument?

Makes you stupid. Giving money to a traitor. Try again loser. Did you donate 1.13 million? Lol
