I could have stumbled past your humble, pant-less pad a couple months ago.

We may have even walked by each other in the street. Middle-aged guy, long, black lambswool overcoat, tie askew. Walking with three or four other guys singing Irish drinking songs, and proclaiming "Christ, it's cold!" or something similar between verses.
