That initial feeling at the beginning of the separation is intense. It can come back with a vengence though when you think you are recovering.

Hello summer time gals and guy(s)!

I won't complain about the heat but I will complain about no rain at all! We haven't had a half inch of rain total in over 40 days. Everything is burning up.

This may be tough for people to believe but I am hooking up a soaker hose and watering the area around my foundation. It keeps the dirt around the foundation from seperating from the basement walls and allowing the foundation to shift. It really does help but sounds pretty dumb to say you are watering your foundation.

kayte, glad to hear you are back home safe! I know you would rather be down there.

The boy toy objects to being called a boy toy outside of our communications with each other.. any ideas what I should call him? I think he feels it belittles his status in my life. It is meant in loving jest. -sigh-

{{{{CC}}}}} I do understand about both time and money. If you have the chance to see your boy toy that could be much more fun. It would be great to see both you and him though.

Perhaps he feels that way as most people don't really understand the meaning behind the relationship the two of you have. I do, and I know it is a name full of love and affection from you. But then I am in a position where He uses names for me, with love, that others not in the life would find appalling.

I went to lunch with one of my brothers and gave him all of the photos and things that I brought back from my parents.

He keeps the "family archives". It is really neat going through pix of your Dad as a baby and all.
