Sunday Morning Thread

It's Sunday morning again.

Not a bad week... could've been worse. Lots of rain thanks to the tropical storm thing in the gulf. I finally get a day to myself and have to spend part of it cleaning because I've been in bed with my back for a two days, and my BF has not lifted a finger.

that's my rant. :catroar:

Back problems sucketh muchly. You have my sympathy, FWIW.

I wanna spend my Sunday mornings on a cool veranda overlooking Lake Arenal, sipping coffee and lazing around with the one. Sex will simmer for hours and eventually erupt. A mid-day soak together in the jacuzzi followed by a shady siesta. More sex -- rowdier this time. Brief trip to the open air market for fresh dinner fixins. Evening meal prepared & enjoyed together. Some reading -- silence -- shared space -- sympatico stuff. And to bed. *sigh*

So it's Sunday. Check in here.

Things pretty good here. Got some health issues resolved and some drama ironed out with life... the boss is on vacation for the next week so work will be a breeze... the SO is improving daily after stopping drinking and getting a new, non-stressful job. My garden is great, I just picked my first crop of radishes yesterday.

My novel has picked up a bit more, after a two-week slump. I'm feeling pretty good about the direction it's going in now that I'm about at the halfway point.

How's everyone else?

Went out all night for the first time in years. Some chick who looks like Nathalie Portman tried to pick me up. I refrained because I am in love. However, I am also almost kicking myself. LOL - she looked like Nathalie Portman for god sake! Sigh. I was good for the third time in my life. Danced a hell of a lot, and met tons of people to dance with, though my muscles are KILLING ME. I must remember to excercise more. :D

It is slightly overcast, but I can't sleep in the light, so am sitting on the balcony sipping coffee and looking toward downtown. Birds are flitting, fluttering and singing, and strangely, yet beautifully, there is no other noise.

Sigh. It is beautiful, and I am just drinking it in. I love Sunday's.

Hazy with heat building today, but the work on the walls is done. Not that there isn't more work to do, of course. And the later today I do it, the hotter it'll be. But here I sit, with coffee, writing in this thread. :)

The boys are going to church with their grandparents in a bit, which means I will have almost quiet today, just me and my daughter. I can't tell you how glad I am for the break. I may actually keep my sanity for another week.

It's pouring outside, I'm tired from staying up all night with my dog who was having Alpo shits and my rag started yesterday.

Otherwise, I'm happy to be alive! :D

Hm. Still sick. Had a nice sex session with my beloved yesterday, and then a good time role-playing. Turn signal on the car broke. Maui, our male cockatiel, is sleeping on my right shoulder as I type this. Did grocery shopping yesterday too. Note to self: have coffee before typing. Without caffeine, sentences not structured properly. Don't want to be confused with Yoda. Or Lola.

It's a gorgeous Sunday morning here. I'm listening to Car Talk as I print out my itinerary and hotel reservation info for my trip to Seattle later today for a weeklong conference.

My company is also sending me to India in July, so I've just taken more ibuprofen to try to deal with the ache in my arms from three vaccinations I had on Thursday - Hepatitis A, polio, and tetanus/diphtheria. I also have prescriptions for Typhoid, malaria pills, and Cipro that I need to get filled when I come back from Seattle.

A month into my new job and it's already taking over my life.

Smiling. It was good to read your post. There's no pleasure quite like the happiness of one's friends.

Hi LadyJ

 for the arm... i hate those damn vaccinations. Ow.

Hi sweets.

It's the tetanus that's the worst. The other two achies are mostly gone, but that one just won't fade.
