Surprise! Canadian Federal Erection Thread

Interestingly, the Quebec Premier is making noises today that Quebec public opinion is becoming pro-pipeline.
About fucking time!
this is a pro-liberal and pro-nationalist signal…a national energy and resource corridor would be great for Canada.
When TCPL closed #3 line, it was Quebec that put the kibosh on shipping crude east. Line #3 is there, and it only needs a years work at most to start using it.

Americans should know that in Canada the (Federal) Conservative Party is relatively new, the bastard child of the Alberta born Reform Party ( right of center, biased towards Alberta) and the Progressive Conservative Party ( the PC’s), a true national center right party.

There are still Provincial PC Parties, notably Ontario ( Premier Ford)… the Ontario PC’s do not support Pollivere, Alberta’s conservatives do.

Doug Ford ( PC Ontario) will ( i think) try to influence towards a Liberal Minority.

And when the time is right he’ll knife PP and carney and take a shot at becoming PM in 2-3 years. :)

That much came across. On the other hand the Ont., Que. coalition has not served Canada well IMO.

“The plan began with a three-prong attack by land and sea, starting with a naval blockade of Halifax, sending troop columns from Detroit and Albany to take Toronto and Montreal, from Bellingham to capture Vancouver, and from Boston to capture Halifax, while columns of troops marching from Albany and Vermont, and troops marching from Buffalo take over Niagara Falls, disabling the Canadian power grid.

The troop movements were devised with the help of U.S. aviation hero, and later Nazi sympathizer, Charles Lindbergh, who flew secret recon missions behind enemy lines up to Canada’s Hudson Bay to suss out weak points.

He recommended the use of chemical weapons.”

Well, given the other two US invasion attempts failed, maybe he's right if they "actually" want to win.
I was thinking about Rebel’s Constitutional remark… the USA could annex Canada by Treaty or Purchase or by Force or a combination, which is what their Constitution allows.

There’s no requirement for annexed Canuckistanis to have Citizenship or even a Vote.

So what do you think the dates for the "open season on Americans" would be? Jan 1st to Dec 31st?

Poilievre defends decision not to get security clearance

Darren Major
Poilievre was the only opposition leader who declined to get security clearance that’s necessary to be briefed on top secret information related to foreign interference. The Liberals have been using this as an attack line on the Conservative leader.
When asked Sunday about his decision, Poilievre repeated his claim that getting the clearance would prevent him from speaking out — a claim that former security officials have refuted.

Eerily similar to Trumps' "I can't release my income taxes because there under audit by the IRS"
IRS "Yes you can"

(CNN) — Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a federal election in a widely anticipated move where he met with Governor-General Mary Simon on Sunday to request for Parliament to be dissolved.

If he applied for Security Clearance, the governing Liberals on the committee would be able to confirm his Foreign Owners.

He didnt get to be a multi-millionaire on his MP salary or wife’s rental condo.

The other canadian leaders were born wealthy.

PP was bought by someone, the shifty beady eyed little fucker.

It’ll come out, always does.

The only thing that's eerily similar to Trump not wanting to release income tax statements is Mark Carney's refusal to disclose all of his assets that were recently put into a blind trust and his refusal to disclose his conflicts of interest, particularly pertaining to his Brookfield funds and stock options.

He just dropped the writ. If there is a legal issue, then he will have to comply to remain a candidate.
