I just started watching a show on Netflix called Shrill. One of the actresses caught my eye as a sultry type of sexy woman. A few episodes later, she mentions that she's trans. I looked her up and Ruthie, played by Pattie Harrison is a Trans Femme. For one, I'm so happy that I found her naturally attractive, two it makes me super excited that I was pleasantly surprised to learn she was trans, and finally it makes me wonder what other beautiful and sexy transwomen are out there doing great things in the film industry. Any recommendations on others that I'm missing out on?

One well known actress, Hunter Schafer, who was on "Euphoria" comes to mind. Of course, Laverne Cox, has been in a lot of shows among them, "Orange is the New Black". Dominique Jackson played a role in "American Gods". The old FX show, Pose, had a big cast of trans actors.

Mae Martin is a Canadian nonbinary actor and comedian who I found very attractive. Usually not into thin and blonde, but they have something about them that I find very appealing. They were in a great psychological horror film they wrote on Netflix called, "Wayward." It was definitely worth the watch!

Comedian Mae Martin wants to surprise you in Netflix’s dark thriller ‘Wayward’ https://share.google/C4mXXfeOjpfP85h9z

Yes! Also, Indya Moore, who plays "Wanda" in Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman." That was yet another great Gaiman series!

Started Euphoria and Oh My dreams come true to see Hunter being so bold, showing that sexy body and bulge!

Saw Wayward, it was decent but Mae has an allure that I liked too.

I actually think it’s kind of refreshing when attraction precedes labels instead of the other way around.

Pattie Harrison is genuinely funny and charismatic, and if you found her attractive before you knew she was trans, that tells you something useful. You responded to a person, not a category.

As for recommendations, a few actresses who come to mind are Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), Laverne Cox (Orange Is the New Black), Michaela Jaé (MJ) Rodriguez (Pose), Hari Nef (Barbie), Alexandra Billings, and Dominique Jackson (Pose). They all bring something different to the screen.

One actress I’ve been following for a while is Jesse James Keitel. She guest-starred in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as Captain Angel, and I thought she absolutely stole every scene she was in. What I appreciated most was that the character wasn’t defined by being trans. Angel was clever, charismatic, manipulative, and dangerous, exactly the sort of memorable Star Trek guest villain I enjoy. I’ve been interested to see what Keitel does next because I think she has the presence to build a really impressive career.

I also think we’re finally getting to a point where trans actresses are increasingly cast because they’re talented, not simply because they’re trans. That’s a much healthier direction for film and television. It lets audiences discover them the way you did with Pattie Harrison, by enjoying a performance first and learning more about the actor afterward. For me, that’s a sign that the industry is making progress.

Jessie was also in Big Sky and was great in her role in that series.

I didn't know any of that!
