Swingers Sites

Well, I can tell you that not posting pictures is going to put a LOT of damper on any enthusiasm for joining you that others might have.

You DON'T have to show your face in the photos, you can block it out or just have a photo cropped, showing a good portion of you two (preferably together) that's up to date and clear.

I promise you, pictures will get you a lot more responses.

Definitely this

:)

None of our profile pics have faces, but we do exchange face pics before meeting someone.

I can't imagine a thought more horrifying than agreeing to meet someone, getting there, and finding out you know them. :D

I know that they're there for the same reason we are, but it's an awkwardness best avoided in general.

well, after reading all of your much appreciated thoughts, and having considered our experiences, our desires and our needs, we are going to let the sites go for now. They don't work for us, whether for geographical reasons, because our professional need for discretion prevents us from posting any pictures, or for whatever reason. Thanks though.

PS We had a great time (really great, ;) ) at a club in New Orleans last weekend...so certainly, leaving the sites be doesn't mean we are forgetting about looking for fun...

Does anyone know of any good swingers sites? My gf and I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and we've tried adult friend finder as well as swing life styles. Unfortunately, neither of these sites appear to have any active members in our area with even the slightest compatibility. (And no, we're not overly picky, would just like people within shouting distance of our own average physical attributes, educational level and sexual orientation...)

Has anyone found any other sites to be interesting?

There's your problem, you live in Baton Rouge! You might want to check local laws when you deal with Bible Belt states. The term "Sodomy" covers alot more than anal sex, especially when you have tons of bible based laws.

In some states selling or even owning sex toys are misdemenors and felonies.

Well, not since 2003. I guess you missed Lawrence and Garner v. Texas. Yes, even in Louisiana, just as in every other state, all "sodomy" laws have been ruled unconstitutional.

How about local swinger publications - usually available at adult stores. There also used to be national magazines - Odyssey, Looking Glass and Odyssey Express were a few I remember. I don't know if they still exist. They were published by Sundance Publications out of CA.

The Mrs and I dabbled in the swinger lifestyle for a while years ago. It was tougher than we thought it would be. We had some fun, but it was a lot of work. You also have to be sure your relationship can handle it.
