I've been thinking, there are many pirate seduction stories from the Age of Sail, what always turned me on the most about this scenario was being in complete isolation from civilized society with a bunch of tough, ruthless men.

What if this was transcribed into a modern-day setting? From what I know of tankers, or cargo ships, they're sparsely crewed, and do travel for long stretches at a time (not sure if these ships still travel for months on end). The possibilities are quite limitless. They don't even actually have to be pirates.

Example: Girl wants to leave country, but can't use the airport or the roads because of passport issues. So she arranges to be smuggled out of the country via cargo ship in exchange for sexual favours. Or maybe she stows away in some corner of the ship but is discovered.

I'd write this story myself, but realistically I know I'd never get it finished, and someone else could probably do a better job of it than me anyway.

Someone with knowledge of tankers/cargo ships chiming in @ the details would be great too.


(Or to swing it in a totally opposite direction, I'd read the same story set in ancient times on a Greek or Viking sailing boat.)

This brings to mind an old movie from the eighties with Michael Cain called 'The Island.' Think they might have done a remake of it recently, but I haven't seen it if they have.
It's about a group of ruthless pirate decendents that time passes by, that base their operations off an island in the Caribbean raiding small sailing boats. They kill, rape and pillage, all the stuff pirates of old used to do, but on occasion would keep a select number of prisoners alive as 'breeding' stock to replenish their numbers. Depending how you write it, you could go numerous ways with this.

As for large cargo ships, that might be a bit hard without some serious plot develpment. Not as easy as it used to be in a realistic sense; just look at all the trouble the Somali pirates have been having as of late. Rapid responds by the U.N or their native country, GPS tracking, satellite comunications, and upgraded security measures by the owners of the tankers. Those ships aren't cheap, and without googling it, my guess is that they would have a crew of around 20-30, no doubt armed to some extent, now

I once read a story about a woman with kids who was searching for a special ship for a passage. In the harbour, she takes the wrong ship. In the middle of the sea, the crew reveal her mistake and tell her, that she has to fulfil sexual deeds to pay for the passage.

I don't see a real problem here. As far as I know, GPS became available for the public around 2000. So just set the story 10-15 years back in time. And even though those ships aren't cheap - do all the ships have GPS nowadays? I mean, some of the ships on the oceans are totally rusty, a swimming piece of junk. So maybe those don't have GPS.

A girl/woman needs to get on a ship out of the country. She goes to the harbour and somehow manages to find out what ship goes to where (she is good looking and with some nice talking ...) She can't be picky about the ship, so she gets on one that looks really rusty.
Or maybe she just needs a ship, no matter where it goes, as long as it leaves the harbour. And late at night, she didn't notice how run down the ship is.
Or maybe she just wanted to hide in the ship. She thinks the ship will never leave the harbour, because it looks as if it would sink as soon as it leaves the harbour. But then she falls asleep and when she wakes up, she is in the middle of the ocean ...

Or even if the ship has GPS - maybe the ship company wants to do an insurance fraud. They have just a limited crew on board, because they want to sink it in the middle of the ocean ...

I just assumed that when the OP said 'modern-day' it ment in a present setting, and I pictured something like a very large cargo ship or a modern Oil Tanker as the starting point. If that's the case, then yes, they would have state of the art tracking and communication systems. I think any ship today would have those, including privatly owned small sailing ships, if you're talking about trans-oceanic travel.
Just becasue a ship looks like a piece of junk, doesn't mean it is; apperences can be decieving.

It's not a problem, like you said, just change the time line around a little and any thing works. Tweak the idea how ever you want, it's a good one with lots of possibilites depending on what you like to write.

This gives me 3 new ideas:

1. The girl is poor but desperate, so she offers to pay with her body. However, when she made this offer, she thought, she would only fuck with the captain - but on the middle of the sea, the captain explains her: you have to serve ALL the seamen. The time varies, could be weeks or months depending on the destination.

A lot of good ideas on this one, mainly centered around reluctance, blackmail or NC, but still good ideas.
I think the willing passenger idea is the best place to start IMO, books a cheap ticket, maybe with a friend (girl or guy) and is taken advantage of at some point when out at sea. I like the unscrupulous captain and crew better then pirates for a modern setting. Seems a bit more realistic IMO.

I'm really starting to like where this idea is going. So they're faced with a pretty nude woman after being out at sea for 'X' amount of time. Not hard to figure out what happens from there, but like you reminded me, tradtionally women on board ship are a bad omen in some cultures. So they use her and either sell her off at some port into slavery, or how about this? They put her and her 'gay' lover in a life boat and set them adrift.

I'm really starting to like where this idea is going. So they're faced with a pretty nude woman after being out at sea for 'X' amount of time. Not hard to figure out what happens from there, but like you reminded me, tradtionally women on board ship are a bad omen in some cultures. So they use her and either sell her off at some port into slavery, or how about this? They put her and her 'gay' lover in a life boat and set them adrift.
Gee, it kind of flows right into you Robinson Crusoe thread, doesn't it?

This is a nice idea. It could become a multi-part story. At first this woman disguises as a guy. She has sex with one of the crew members. He soon finds out that she is a girl, but he keeps on fucking her. The other crew members discover that she is a girl. The guy who fucked her tells the other guys that she is a witch and she jinxed him, into fucking her. The crew members are all very superstitious, so they want to kill "the witch". She begs for her life and offers them, everyone can fuck her, if they let her live. The crew members accept and have an orgy with her.
However, they still fear her and her witch powers, so they decide to abandon her on a secluded island, where usually, no ship comes by.

And on this secluded island, the Robinson Crusoe story line starts ...

You know, we haven't heard anything from the OP on this topic for some time. I think all the variations we've thown out have been good, or at least workable ideas for a story to some degree or another, but I was originaly under the assumption that she was looking for ideas for a story of her own and fishing for help. After going back and re-reading her initial post, I guess she was just thowing it to the wind, though.

I like the idea above, and the lead up to the Crusoe thing, but a witch? We're talking pretty far back in history I think, where as having a woman on board a ship was still frowned upon as superstion in the 19th and early 20th century, I think. Just seems a bit more realistic to me.
I'm not trying to focus on the sex aspect of the idea at this point, but the adventure and unfolding drama of the woman in question. The sex will come easily enough, but without a good plot, it might as well be just a short porn story as I see it.
