Tatoos not a turn on...

I generally feel the same way, but then I see a real work of art and I like it. More often, I see a woman with a tattoo peeking out from her clothed body, and I think to myself, "I want to follow that wherever it goes!"

Here is a bit of insight: The tattoos aren't FOR YOU. They are for the people who put them on their skin for THEIR enjoyment. It's irrelevant whether you like them or not and I promise you, irrelevant to the person who has it on their body.

Hmm. So this is why tattooed people never respond to my sternly worded letters and look annoyed when I chase them respectfully with sandpaper.

I tend to see tatts as more of a cultural thing. I could be wrong. I grew up in a time when the only people who had tatts were those who had been at sea. Both my kids have a lot of tatts. My son served in Helmand province. He still has issues from it, like hearing loss. He lost a buddy to an iud. My kids see their skin as a way to express themselves. Me, I see skin as being beautiful as it is. The world and what we know changes. Constantly.

Well, I applaud the methodical, reasonable and gentlemanly way you go about this. :D

I once had to stand in line, next to a man who had a very good and life like tattoo on his neck of a tarantula looking like crawling out of the collar of his shirt.

I did keep standing there despite a rather unhealthy pulse rate, because I do try to not let fear make my decisions for me (I had to google the name of the spider in English to make sure I tranlated it correctly and there were pictures and I knew there would be, but I did it anyway), but sandpaper would not have done it for me.
I wanted to whack it and him with a Looney Tunes implement from Acme.

Correct, unless there is a running from sandpaper kink I have yet to discover. 😁🤭

Now by mentioning it, you have willed it into existence.😳
Strange people will start to flock at hardware stores with dreamy eyes…oh wait, we already do. A few more will still be just fine.
Just forget I mentioned it
