Chest tatt. Took almost 14hrs. Got it just over a year ago. Plenty of sunscreen keeps it looking new, I work construction and often dont wear a shirt.

24/m

Its not one you can be indifferent to. Its not a rose, or a flower, or the name of a band. Somoebody say something

I think it's cool and interesting, hon. Life and love extending far beyond what we can see, or probably comprehend....

Your chest's not too bad, either...:D

Very cool! I will be honest, I delayed posting because I kept looking at the first picture and was trying to decide if it was just photoshopped on. It was so colorful that it almost didn't look real.

The tat is very nice...very distinct. And btw, the bod looks damn hot in that second pic too. I love your hair! :)

Does the saying have a history that is special to you?

i love it... and i love the second one a lot... :)

very nice.

i like the text that goes with it.

Yes it does. Its pretty personal though, and I couldnt give an explanation that would do it justice without leaving some things that dont belong in the knowledge of the viewing public. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.

**edited to say that nothing was photoshopped, and I have to cover it in sunscreen everytime I'm shirtless.

Nice tat! Ii cant believe you sat there for that long though. I don't think you should get one unless it has a meaning. I got this six months ago after the death of my son. It only took two hours and I designed iy myself.:)

Cool...and completely understandable about wanting to keep some things on the down low. I hope you don't think I was accusing you of photoshopping it...was just saying that I really took awhile to view the first pic because of how brilliant the colors were...almost didn't look real. (in a complimentary way) And the second picture clearly shows how real it is!

Thank you for sharing it!

Sorrry-

This one was taken the week it got finished, by a gal in Californ-I-A, where I got the tattoo done. It was done in black and white, and I have my glasses on. She showed it to me on the view window of the camera, and said I look like Clark Kent, when he's not superman. I looked like kind of a dork, but I guess she (and perhaps my viewing public) could tell that there was something 'behind the surface' in this shot, plus I like whatever you call shades of grey, I think it starts with an 'M'.

Therm-

Kind of the same shit about death/loss/greif. I was in the car when the two people on my chest became angels, all the visable scars in the pics are a result of that accident, spleen removal, it ruptured and is the scar on my guts, tracheaotomy (I dont know how you spell it, its the scar on my throat where oxygen was pumped into my lungs for days) then there are a few little ones (I broke a few ribs, partially collapsed a lung, feeding tubes, that shit). Then there are two fat ones on my head: one runs the entire length on the left side, one runs the entire width at the back, above the natural bump thing. It has caused me to revise and redefine my spritual beliefs.

Do I look like Clark Kent in black and white? Or was she just telling a white lie, that you WANT to believe, but you know is horseshit.

Any white guy with a strongish chin, square glasses and and a conservative haircut can look like Clark Kent.

Anyway on the tattoo, it's not my style, I'm more of a strictly black ink tattoo kind of guy. But vibrant colors, very clean lines and artwork, excellent shading. Looks like you're one of those rare people that actually know how to take care of tattoo and how to let one heal post-inking.

As long as you like it, thats all that matters. Which is usually why I don't judge tattoo's unless it's something horribly stupid like "Fuck You!" on the fingers or something.

And car accidents suck. Cracked my skull and broke....pretty much the left side of my body during my worst one. Funnily enough, I was more upset that my car was totaled when I woke up a couple days later.

To me you look more like a tattood John Kennedy than a Clark Kent and great tat
