What era would you say that is? fifties? It's difficult to see her frame beneath the coat, but I'm thinking that she must have had some help in the form of a corset, or girdle at least. Ouch.

Fifties sounds plausible, the hat, the silhouette, etc. Think you're right about the help, too!

Now there's a thing though. For me, corset = sexy, girdle = not sexy at all
