"In court documents, Miranda claimed that the school district refused to conduct a “full and adequate” investigation but fired her based upon her gender."

How does a school district do a full and adequate investigation? Inquiring minds want to know.

I can partially see the School's point - it's awkward to allow a teacher to teach kids who see her in that way.
But you allow her to transfer to another school, you don't make her unemployable.

I don't think she should be fired. It was meant to be a private photo to her bf and it got hacked. I realize that every boy in that school is going to see that photo, and she is going to have to live with that and deal with it. But she shouldn't lose her job.

Nobody stands by their employees in the age of the internet & public accountability.

Like the Diocese who was quick to smear his own students before investigating the Nathan Phillips incident.

It's particularly striking with corrupt corporations.
Whenever accidents happen or ethical lines are crossed, some manager posts a meme "we're committed to serving the public ethically, so we promiss that heads will fall." And they end up firing some low level accountant or cafeteria worker.

But the problem is....the money they end up paying...comes from the district's constituents. I can only speak for myself, but I prefer my school taxes are actually spent on the kids...not the Courts. But hey...to each their own. School Board members here would have competition real fast.

Exactly...and why this is probably an open and shut case. I would have my phone records...let us see his. You cant terminate one and not the other. 3 million plus the District's lawyer fees...gone...like dust in the wind

If the ex sent them to a kid, he would then be 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor' but in a civil case like this there is no discovery for the ex's phone. Or the kid's phone for that matter.
