Teddy Da Cruzer Wanted To Ban Dildos?

Real American's peculiar use of obscure words is not easy to understand.

Maybe you can interpret his last post for us.

Apparently SJW means 'Social Justice Warrior' and is a term of abuse.

Why is it abusive? Surely social justice is something that Americans (and others) should try to achieve. The liberation of Europe and the Pacific could be considered actions of social justice. The ending of segregation in the US could be seen as social justice - but taken with Real American's other terms of abuse I assume he considers that a mistake.

I wouldn't call it an abusive expression, but I would describe it as being satiric, similar to "Bleeding Heart." It describes a person who is obsessed with what he or she sees as social injustice. An example would be somebody who gets into a snit because a state requires people to use bathrooms and locker rooms and similar facilities that match their biology.

Which is quite proper since it's a law with no purpose whatsoever aside from bigotry.

If Teddy boy wants to ban dildos, maybe he can start with Mitch McConnell and Chuck Grassley?

That's not PC.

We generally see those proclaiming their non-PC-ness happily denigrating groups and individuals with ethnic-gender-social-etc slurs. We can safely assume that anti-PC-ers are intolerant assholes. Those expressing such views online or via talk shows are cowardly assholes -- if they directed such language personally to members of said groups, they'd get their ass stomped. Anonymity provides safety for the vile.

Well I call a Spade a Spade and I believe it is very clear that the afore-mentioned are best suited to be stuffed in an asshole where they can be most useful.

Gotta disambiguate here. A spade is a shovel. Or a spade (card suit) derives from the pike, the kind used to kill people. Derived from a spade-card's black color is 'spade' meaning nigger. Kind of like the black Brazilian jazz guitarist Bola Siete (Ball Seven), so-called because the 7-ball, not the 8-ball, is black in Brazilian pool. (I used to work with his wife.)

Then there's the homonym 'spayed'. That seems suitable for these guys.

If you wanted to evoke the original, sixteenth-century connotation (a shovel), it would be best not to capitalize the "spade."

A man cannot be spayed.

Whatever. Point I was making was not to support violence, merely that non-PC assholes shouldn't be surprised if they're stomped (physically or metaphorically) in response to their "fighting words". Those who are Polite and Considerate (PC) are less likely to provoke violent reactions. Karma: what you send out, comes back to you. Broadcast hate and you'll have it returned. Yell insults at people and they might respond unkindly. PC is thus a matter of self-protection. Hey, be as non-PC as you want! But don't act astonished of your targets retaliate. And look up "inciting riot".

I could use this argument to say that the only reason black people feel like they can call white people "crackers" is because they're not afraid we will beat the shit out of them...unlike the inverse.

Essentially you have proved my point, which is that PC is an attempt to impose repressive ideas through the fear of violence.

Well done.

What, as opposed to non-PC rhetoric, which actually does impose repressive ideas through the fear of violence?

Yeah, I was not surprised to find that out. His crowd is scared to death of women's sexuality. It really is women's sexuality a lot more than sexuality in general. Most of these people have a very "boys will be boys" mentality so they really don't have a problem with guys sleeping around. But women having agency and dictating what happens to their bodies and especially inside their bodies scares the living piss out of them. That's what the whole Hobby Lobby birth control thing is about. If women get to decide with whom to have sex, when to do it, and what happens when they do it that represents a seismic shift in their world. Have you noticed a lot of these people also do the rape apology thing? Todd Aiken is the go-to example but he's far from alone. They try to make it seem like they're not trying to downplay rape as a big deal by talking about false accusations and couching it in a "we don't have to coddle women" pretext but really we know what they're doing. It's the whole point behind the Men's Rights "movement" too. There's a large network of misogynistic people (not just men, sadly) who just don't see women as being equal to men. So they try to take their agency away by painting their sexuality as immoral or dangerous, smearing anyone who's ever reported a rape or accused someone of raping or assaulting them as liars or hysterical vengeful people out to get all men, and equating abortion with infanticide. Make no mistake, Ted Cruz is very much one of those people.

The main reason they're coming out of the woodwork right now is we're making real gains toward gender equality. There's still a long way to go and we all do need to do our part in making it happen but since more and more men and women are waking up to the problems there are, what feminism actually is rather than what the media tends to portray it as, and we're generally drifting closer to equality in general it's starting to scare them and they respond with fear and anger because they're insecure so anything that represents a loss of power inspires those feelings in them. It's pretty sad, really. I'm a man and I think achieving equality is a great thing. I understand that means I will lose some of the privilege I have by virtue of being male but I don't need to have all the stuff. I can share and want to. I don't want to have power and privilege I don't deserve. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who do and it scares them to know that they're losing it.

lol :D

Bering literate has nothing to do with missing the joke for being so literal.

I did not consider it to be a joke; I thought of it as being a rather bitchy display of ignorance. Spaying is the removal of certain female internal organs, rendering her sterile. If there is a male equivalent, it is castration or vasectomy, although those are minor surgeries.

To be honest I didn't know that. I've always heard it as "spay and neuter your pets" and never bothered to figure out the specifics anymore than that.

On Hillary's side we'd more than likely be in a very similar boat. Maybe not identical but it wouldn't have prevented a middle of the road corpratist from winning the nomination. It's just that he in all likelihood wouldn't be as unliked as Hillary.

Trump is much more unique that might have spared us the suffering.

LOL obviously...

And how many years is it going to take you to figure out how to operate the quote function properly?

Better yet how do manage to fuck it up so bad every time ?
