everyone seems to be forgetting that he has been in the city for quite a few years now, hes had a life, and was widely known as one of the most needlessly violent killers ever to walk the streets (he didnt give himself the name 'the bloodletter' after all) not that he has kept up his reputation in recent years

and yes, he has been in love, he didnt know he was, or understand what love was at the time (he still doesnt) but that part of his life is over now, and he cries himself to sleep everynight, partialy because fo that memory

I don't even want to think about Mal in love. As it is, his Dad's sort of a dork when it comes to his tendency to get sappy or protective with Match over in Tempest. I imagine Mal would be somewhat similar.

Funny enough, despite all of his bs, I picture Ronan as rather chivalrous when it comes to actual love. You can blame his mother for that part of himself.

If it helps, Jules, if he falls in love... I know crushes die hard with him. In fact, when he does like someone, he tends to see only them and is all lovey dovey about it. Though he is so shy, it would take him a long, long time to say he even likes the person (especially to them). ...Not only that, he will think in his mind that no one could possibly ever like him like that. Or if he can have a relationship period.

Now, if he had competition... Hmmm... He would want the one he likes to be happy, but deep down... Ehhh.. He won't be able to help himself but to feel jealous and possibly try to get that person he likes to pay attention to him.
