Imagine this: a mid-forties mom gets an offer in the mail: family cell phone service, unlimited data and texts and voice, for $10 per user, minimum four phones on the plan. Phone upgrades once per year are included.

So Mom, Dad, and their two sons and two daughters sign up. It's an incredible deal, right?

Nobody out of all of them read the terms of service carefully. Turns out,

My thought: there's a very popular trope in porn now, "Free Use." Clause 23 of the TOS says that all adult phone-holders must make themselves available for sex on two days of the week, selected by the phone company. On that day, they must accept any request for sexual acts, with very limited exceptions:

1. They cannot be injured or seriously endangered, e. g. "Let's fuck on this ledge outside my twentieth floor office."
2. They are entitled to a 45 minute rest period after each sex act.
3. While sex-requesters may interrupt household activities, they can't do anything that would force a person to lose their job. The actual language notes that employers may choose to allow free use of an employee through the work day at their sole discretion.
4. Doctor's notes apply--you can't make someone who has a sprained knee do cowgirl on top of you, for instance.

The family is not thrilled, but they adapt. It's the youngest daughter and son who realize: if they want to avoid someone and see him/her coming, one of them can request sex from the other, because once they're doing the deed, they can't be interrupted. They don't mind free use fucking in general, but it lets the son avoid a neighbor dad he really despises.

Conclusion: most of the family members take the free phone upgrade after the first year (instead of canceling), thus committing to another year of being free use sluts.

Interesting premise, but it breaks down at the incest for me. We introduce a terms of service with sex, where we can use suspension of disbelief to make it so. Then we set it up in a reasonable way, giving a believable framework on which to build the story.

However, a "reasonable" ToS would include a clause about legality. The sex act can't make you do anything illegal. Last time I checked, incest was still illegal in all 50 states, and in most of the world besides. Incest would challenge the "reasonable sex ToS" premise, requiring a higher level of suspension of disbelief to accept it.

Again, define the relationship. In the US specific relationships or acts are legislated against. So, in some states adult siblings are not illegal. In some states adult first cousins are not illegal. In a couple states all adult relationships are legal ... Which is NOT to say they are socially acceptable (except on daytime television).

One thing a lot of people from outside the US (and some inside the US) don't fully understand is that the US is not unitary, it is 50 states, DC, 94 federal districts, 5 major territories, 574 federally recognized tribal governments, and 3,243 counties, parishes, and boroughs. And "federal law" is not always superior. So, two adults in Newport or Bayonne can do any consensual thing they want together. Adult brothers and sisters are okay in Sandusky ... so are aunts and nephews, or uncles and nieces, so long as one was never acting as an authority figure over the other.

PS: If you want weird, first cousins in Edina may or may not be legal depending on tribal membership, and first cousins in Raleigh are fine ... unless they are "double firsts" and then they are not.

In some US places, yes. And, I am no expert on Canada. But in some jurisdictions there Section 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has been successfully argued to forbid government interference in all consensual adult personal relationships. Similar local and state laws exist in the US.
