my austin trip

was great fun with friends and 6th street. food was beyond compare, drinks were sublime, and music at maggie mae's was awesomely good. did i meet anyone? nope. only one guy braved the friends to come and talk to me....basically he said his name, then "i am here doing medical research and have an rv. would you like to go back to it?" WHAT THE FUCK? (and sorry for those of you that don't like cursing) that was smooth..i was dumbfounded at the lack of class in his offer. i just looked at him, said NO THANK YOU and ignored him. He wasn't bad looking, but come on....some small talk would have been nice before blurting it all out. I looked pretty good (see pic on my thread)...but really...REALLY? An RV? My hotel suite would have been much better...but he lost any opportunity of seeing the inside of it. Yes, my friends, THAT was the highlight of a free weekend in Austin WITHOUT the hubby and able to play. Sigh. I am getting tired of this....which is why I don't like one night stands!
