That sounds like a plan. As soon as it starts "cooling off" just a bit, I'm going to hopefully knock out some serious distance at the jogging track for some much-needed peace of mind. Then, it's shower and reading time for me.

I have not watched TV in about 7 months. Can't tell you the last time I saw the news or even knew what the weather predictions were.

Yes, I know, very weird. But, it's freeing. I haven't felt sad about missing an episode of Real Housewives at all.

Oh! And there's no better feeling than when it rains and you don't know it's supposed to rain. Ahh! It's amazing!

Watch yourself, too, on Monday. I used to head to the track every day at 5:00 but I couldn't do it anymore. Now, it's more like 7:00 for me. It's still a heat stroke in the making, sheesh!

Does anyone know if armadillos or possums bite people? For some reason I would rather have a masked man with a knife approach me than getting startled by one of those other things. Oh yea, I saw a possum the other night 2 ft away and screamed like a prepubescent boy.

Yes, if a critter has a mouth, it can and will bite if one is foolish enough to fuck with it.
Or if it has rabies.
If one leaves them alone, however, opossums & armadillos will mostly just clear off.
Oh, and never handle an armadillo without gloves. They've been known to carry leprosy, which humans can contract by unprotected handling.
