Good afternoon, everyone.
I watched the fireworks out over the water last night. I saw some of the most beautiful boats all grouped together out there to watch them, as well.
It was truly majestic.

Such sweet memories.. fireworks watched from the bay, reclining the seats and laying back, waves rocking the boat, just enough jungle juice to be totally relaxed, reaching across the boat to hold hands with Babygirl..

Oh yes, the feeling of freshly burned stinging thighs on a sun-drenched leather boat seat...
Kidding aside, some of my most cherished memories are of summers spent in a boat on the water. I've always been a bit of a sun bunny, too!

Of course living in a boating paradise with a season that starts in early April, by July I had such a good tan that all day out in the boat didn't burn a thing..lol.

Me? I'm mowing some acreage, jogging outdoors, making it to the beach every chance I get, even if it's only for an hour some days, and dreaming the rest of the time... a lot!

Work relocated my job to Texas and I left my desert and embraced big city life! Sun worshipping happens poolside at my apartment. One day I'll retire back and I'll have the privacy to sun bathe nude.

Nothing wrong with poolside for the moment. Just as long as we're outside and enjoying the rays, that's what matters. I will find any excuse to be outside. I don't care if the heat index is 115 degrees. Just don't put me in the cold...yikes!

Indeed! I couldn't agree more. It is definitely a soul nourishing experience, when you love the sun as much as we do. I'm telling you, I could be having the worst day, and just walk outside, look up and let the sun shine down on my face, and it nourishes me. It livens me. It feeds my soul.
