I think it's pretty pointless to be horny during my period, because most of the guys I've been with have had issues with having sex with me while I'm bleeding - one of them even believed that having sex with a woman during her period could make him loose his soul!

Hmmmmm, sounds like boys more than men. Either that or rather ignorant. Unfortunately that's what they're usualy taught when they're young and it's hard to break them of that mindset.

On the other hand I've known a lot of women who felt much the same way. After a while I got out of the habit of trying to teach them different. Thankfully I met my wife who's IQ is larger than her bra size. (Much larger thank god.)

Being young I did not realize that it was okay to be horny during that time until rather recently. I guess I’m a late bloomer when it comes to sex (2 over protective older brothers scared away most men). When I first started dating I came across guys who were not interested. That gave me the idea that being horny during my periods was not normal or if it was I was supposed to silently endure it.
Lucky for me my Mom is very open and when I talked to her she cleared up the misconception. To my way of thinking a smart man would never decline and a smart lady will do as she desires.

I must be a rare guy...it has never bothered me much, just means there is a little extra clean up to do. But I will say that it is not something I would suggest or push until I was assured my partner was not going to have an issue with it. I have been with those that did.

I've been fortunate to find quite a few guys who didn't mind doing it at all during my period. One particular guy even pointed out the benefits of tampons as sex toys. Ok, maybe that was a little warped.
