As a beginner grower, some things pop up and you'll find yourself scrambling for a solution, before your entire crop dies. One of these things is ph.
The avg. ph levels are usually between 6.0-7.0. I have been experiencing growth problems and leaf discolouration and found my ph was too low and that 'locks' up the nutrients and starves the plant. I'm finding that even though I have a soil mix formulated for plants requiring a ph between 6-7 %, the water plays a key role on how it works for the plant.
I was told by one grower to have my ph around 6-6.5%, this ended up locking up the nutrients. To remedy this is actually simple and easy.
In a 2 l. (1/2 gal)watering can of water brought to 6.5-6.8% ph, add 1(one) tbsp. of Epsom salts. thoroughly water each plant and then to speed the process of healing, use a mister spray bottle with the same Epsom salts water on the leaves.

I tried some of my latest in the water pipe earlier and it is yummy. Very smooth and fruity tasting. So far, the effects are great. Very body numbing and geves the head a nice mellow, yet still alert.
