The 420 Lounge

In all honesty, it's easy for Americans to come up and live here. The only hard part is the culture shock. The streets and parks are clean, everyone gets to do their own thing without question, no one bats an eye if you smoke a joint in public, women are legally allowed to go topless in public, health care is free with your taxes, acceptance of sexual prefences and all those nice things that make living life wonderful.

Must live in Ontario?!
lol

ya'damn right I am.... I'd hope he'd be busy with his other hand :D

I'm seriously considering the same thing. Getting more and more braver about 'sometimes ya just gotta say, what the fuck'

i like uncertainty. more exciting. what's the worse could happen, go find something else to do?
i don't want to look at the book called my life, and fall asleep.

As I always say, I hate sitting on the sidelines and watching the game being played.

I am doing fine, and yourself babe?

Just smoothin' right along. I'm sitting here smelling about a pound of bud drying and it's driving me crazy. I love all the different fragrances in them. I'm getting a very distinct blueberry in one, a sour/ sweet smell in another and a heavenly rich in the last. I'm looking forward to smelling my first P. Kush buds. I hope they turn out as good as the ones I've puffed.

Well, I hope so too! I am intrigued by your knowledge of the Herb, Lance.
I don't know 1/10th of what you do about it. *bows*

I think you are a Herb Guru, Love :)

see my post on how to make pot butter. you'll get more thc in the butter as long as you do not boil the butter. thc will evaporate at too high of a temp..

18 more daze.....................

Reason I boiled, at my elevation butter starts to boil at 208F. THC-COOH bonds break at 212F to 225F
From what I was told THC remains intact till 390F before it vaporizes.
Boil is maybe not the right word to use due to its vagueness.
I figured I’d give a specific temp range for min max.
I’m no chemist so if my numbers are wrong, by all means let me know.

I'll have to counter you on the temps there Mr. Price. I vapourize Herb daily and I can go as low as 290F if it's dry and up to 310F when a bit moist. The Cannabinoids start releasing instantly when enough heat is applied. That's why smoking a joint is really only good for the first two or three hits, as the high heat has released the vast majority of them by the first third of the joint.

Butter is also something that can't be brought to too high a heat before it burns and browns. I cook also, so I know about the temps for that. I would tend to lean towards Ivan's method of using a double-boiler as well. It keeps the heat at a more consistent temp needed for melting and mixing the Herb together over a longer period of time.
