Chikie thats a gorgeous pic in every way. one reason i love metal pipes, even when you are out you have one last bowl for a rainy day. Just scrape it. xD
 
Does weed get stronger if it's locked in an airtight container for a few months. I found some old stuff that I had locked in a pill bottle. It seemed a lot stronger than it used to be.

Honestly, I have no idea. But I am going to side with you on this one. I personally think the drier it is the better...:confused: and more potent too..

Anyone else? Thoughts?

Stickier is better in the sense it burns slower and smokes more, so you get more out of your weed
 
Think about it...green wood takes longer to burn n smokes a lot more that dead wood. Because its wetter. Obviously too wet and it wont burn at all. And yes, drier means easier hits cause it burns faster, so you don't have to work as hard.

For real? It's sort of hard to read against the white, but highlighting it is awesome. xD It's touching. Its tender. It erotic. It's what I want to find.
 
Just to clear a bit of confusion. "Wet" and "sticky" are two entirely different things. Wet means the drying and curing process hasn't been done properly. It takes a minimum of a week from harvest, before it is ready to clip the buds off and further dry them for 3-4 more days.

Sticky doesn't mean it is wet, it means the resins in the bud are present in large quantities. That is a good thing.

In regards to longer storage improving the potency, yes, it does improve it. When kept in a sealed glass jar, paper wrapped to keep out light, weed improves in quality and potency, like wine. It can be kept like that for months, even a few years and still amaze you with how good it is.

Sorry, explained it wrong. yeah, more resin is better. but it also has the effect from what I said too.

Quite true SB. The drier bud has a lower combustion point temperature and hence, starts smoking earlier in light-up. As discussed previously in this thread by others, vaporizing is the best way to tell how good your bud is. The cannabinoids release their true fragrance at the lower temps, as well as releasing the all potent THC.

I was at a vapor lounge just the other night, discussing the pros and cons of smoking vs. vaping. By far, hands down, vaping gave a better high from the same piece of bud, than smoking. One thing that was better in smoking, was the immediate release of Cannabinoids, in large quantities. This didn't get anyone higher, but those that were taking it for medicinal purposes, had a faster relief to their symptoms.

I definitely would say it became more potent sitting in a pill bottle for a few months. I expected it to be weak, but was surprised how strong it was.

I know WnD's, it amazed me too. I smoked some 3 yr. old White Widow and thought it would be harsh tasting and weak. Quite the opposite. Smooth as silk and POW, it hit like a hammer.

LOL, Hi Chikie :rose:, nice to see you again.

Bongs are another thing all together. The biggest mistake people make is putting too much in. Use only enough for a good single hit and then LIGHTLY pack it. Using a good heat source, like a jet lighter, much like a mini torch, create a good vacuum in the bong and hit it with the flame for several seconds only. Draw hard and release from the bong.

*note* the little hole in bongs and pipes is used for lighting. Open during lighting, closed during inhale. Or so Im told. :D

Not all have holes... mine's just a simple plastic tube with a neefty slide :D for me, one thing's a must....
