I did have a good day. My friend, my dog, and I had a field trip to visit the stone man today. It was about a 1.5 hrs drive in intermittent rain but totally worth it! He has a nice operation there. After a visit through his boneyard, we went to this cute little cafe for lunch. It was an all day trip.

Be careful! If you're not clean, and I'm talking pristine, your procedure will be canceled and you'll just have time do the prep all over again.

So the driver just left - with my entire order.

But really? Everything is at a dead stop until your system is back up and running?

Okay - don't whining.
Tempted to just get new cold packs and take a nap.

Felt pressure. 4 polyps 1 sort of big one on the stem...all to the lab to test them.... been passing gas and has been wonderful.... the first swig of diet pepsi was magic

Good morning, have a thrilling Thursday (or a peaceful uneventful one)


A moment of mirth to start the day


After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply

for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me

for my driver's License to verify my age. I looked in my pockets

and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that

I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.

The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'.

So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair.

She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.

When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.

She said, 'You should have dropped

your pants. You might have gotten disability too.'

And then the fight started...

I asked my wife, “Where do you want to go for our anniversary?”

It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation. “Somewhere I haven’t been in a long time,” she said.

So I suggested, “How about the kitchen?”

And that’s when the fight started.

My wife and I were laying in bed one night and she asked

"If I died, would you remarry?"

"Yes, if I was in love and found someone I could trust, I would for our son's sake"

Next she asked "Would you let her live in this house?"

To which I replied "Yes, I wouldn't want to have to move our son out of the only home he has ever known and I don't see the point in leaving this house with so many great memories."

Then she asked "Well would you let her use my golf clubs?"

And I reply "Lord NO!"

"Why not???" she asked

"Because... She is left handed..."

And THEN the fight started!
 
Happy Thirsty Thursday, everyone!

I had a busy day yesterday, lots of driving, and I'm tired. Probably overtired, like a toddler. 🙄🙄 I'm headed for my bed; I get to sleep in today. I won't have workers here till noon!

You all have a good Thursday and don't mess up OM's kitchen!
