Fine...I was watching some of it... I remember saying it is pretty cool.to see your insides on the screen.... now whether it really happened or not is the question. 3 8 to 10 mm polyps transverse colon and a 14 mm peduculated polyp in the descending. All sent for biopsy.... so we will see. The big one has a higher chance of turning to cancer. He didn't seem concerned. So I am not going to be either.

It was awful..... I was in and out because there is some stuff I dont remember like going back to my room.... the post procedure nurse had the personality of a clam shell... and I am being mean to the clan

explain to me after you receive these high-powered drugs, when you get a blood pressure of 60 over 30. I watch the whole thing. She didn't want to look at my face, ask me how I was feeling. She rechecked my blood pressure on the same arm with the same cuff on my forearm, got a better number and said oh well that's better and walked out of the room. Now nurse to nurse we know that's b******* right

I did have a good day. My friend, my dog, and I had a field trip to visit the stone man today. It was about a 1.5 hrs drive in intermittent rain but totally worth it! He has a nice operation there. After a visit through his boneyard, we went to this cute little cafe for lunch. It was an all day trip.

I had several procedures over the last year. Cataracts, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. All went well. Even the colo-prep was nothing compared to the horrible stories I was warned with. They must have perfected the process.
As for the drug they all referred to it as teva. Not sure if that is the correct spelling. I was surprised at how it looked thick like runny sour cream as it was injected. It must have been lighter dose for the cataracts as I remember my sight changing as they worked. As the lens were broken up for removal it was like a white light colideescope. New lens goes in and a nice lady was waking me up. I was totally out for the endo colo stuff, but both were excellent.
No drugs for the prostate exam. Luckily she had little fingers. Might have been more fun after a few glasses of wine.

Thanks Lilli. My mother’s friend was sent back after she thought she could skip a step of prep. My first one I followed everything to the letter of the law, went in, the anesthesiologist started counting backwards from 10 and I don’t remember anything after 8! 🤣.

I will follow our resident Head Nurses advice this time also! Thanks for the reminder!

Took third in our dart league match last night and won the weekly football pool😃. Not a bad haul! Needed to get some things done today but it’s cloudy, cold, and the rain is supposes to start around 2. It’s looking more and more like a nap day…🤔

While I ponder that…I‘ll leave you some Osprey MZ…

Around here EVERYONE is limited. Major medical is at minimum 2 hours drive, with some trips being 8 hours...

In the case of the PT, there is ONE person in a several hundred mile radius that does that. She left the hospital and started her own practice. For half of the PT she was in the PPO, then longer in the PPO... :(

Glad to hear you got that taken care of. Catching them and cutting them early is key, just getting in there and getting them out is a major win!

It can be nerve wracking waiting for those results. But remember statistically speaking, there is basically zero chance of having to worry now. The hard part is done. The worst thing is a re-do of the process in a few years!
