Heading out for 12 . And yes it's 40 degrees, and yes it's raining. But amazingly we generate heat and are water proof. I always say running in the rain is like taking a shower with your clothes on.

Well what a few days….temperature dropped to around 26 and boiler packed in. Valve burst and sprayed water over the control unit…both screwed so no hot water or heating with freezing temperatures. Fortunately we have an electric shower and stove in the lounge that takes wood or coal. Waiting on parts for god knows how long grrr!

Oh geez. That’s sounds awful greylag. Hope you can find a contractor or the part soon!

We were supposed to originally get no snow today and then maybe 45 mins of snow, but it’s now been snowing for 11hrs!
The streets were warmer at first so they and the side walks are ice skating rinks! We are in some advisory now.

This morning I woke up to snow on the trees and some icy roads.
