We were supposed to originally get no snow today and then maybe 45 mins of snow, but it’s now been snowing for 11hrs!
The streets were warmer at first so they and the side walks are ice skating rinks! We are in some advisory now.

It seems that way. Damned thing is still sore this morning, but that's from the injection, I think. It has a different feel to it. I get over that and I get after these stretches and we should be golden.

Woke at 2 am couldn't sleep so I'm working. Going to Davos, Switzerland in Januaru so I'm doing prep work.

I have good shoes - she approved. Got a good ankle brace and some inserts for the shores I wear more often. Got a replacement set for when they crap out. Got a heel pad for the bum foot. And I found that these ice packs are a good size for this foot.

Good! Use all of those!

Weather is a bummer. More cold fog. I am going to drive safely. This afternoon more rain and then the evening comes where 2 low pressure centers come together over us bringing cold rain and snow. It will be a fireplace and cooking stew day.

I love stew on a cold weather day! I made some chicken and rice soup that was more like stew. Also some beer cheese bread. I fed some to one of the guys today. He liked it!

I hate business travel. The older I get the less I enjoy cramming myself in an aluminum tube at 35,000 feet with two hundred of my new best friends. Sleeping in strange beds sucks, and I can get a steak dinner back home for less than the cheeseburger I had last night. Two more days and I’ll be back home.

I had a job where I traveled for a short time. I only lasted in it for 1.5 years. It was great fun at the beginning but it got old fast. I traveled nearly weekly. I was glad to leave it and go back to the hospital!

I had a job where I traveled about 10 days out the month to cool places, I loved the job and the places but I got to the point where I hate eating out and wanted my own bed.
Sometimes when I working semi locally and I have a hotel room at the show hotel, I still drive home to sleep.

Oh, you SHOULD take a stained glass course! My mom did that. She made some beautiful stuff. Maybe I should do that. I've been wanting some items to hang in windows, especially bathroom.

I know a guy who does glasswork. I have one of his pieces. When he returns from the wars, I'd like to see what else he has. If you have things in your head that you want to make, by all means, take the class. This class will come in very handy when hot rod building becomes a thing in my life.


Went for a half-walk. That and the walking I'll do this afternoon will reach the new reduced goal.

I see a lot of stuff I want to try... I would love to learn how to wood carve spoons and use a lathe to turn wood candleholders..... make marbled paper like they used way back when..... I see someone do it and i am like hmmmmm....
