The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Yeah. I'll probably go with 512 on the next phone, too.

As far as music goes, I have a crap-ton of music and some I specifically like for playlists. It annoys me that I either have to pay for a premium streaming app or deal with ads when I already OWN the music I like. I've been on the hunt for a reliable mp3 player app.
I committed to iPhone and went 256GB. I too hate the cloud. All the cloud does is consume bandwidth. With iPhone a mac and iPad I use an app I downloaded to PC to sync what I want form device to device. iMazing. Pretty simple to use and you can set independent backups, incremental or delete removed data. Mostly I just use it as a backup so I can turn off the cloud. I leave the cloud for messaging, contacts, email... But for the most part it is turned off. I have ~160GB of Tunes in iTunes all of which I do have in iTunes Match. If their copy is superior to mine Match upgrades it from the cloud. The copy of music on my phone is organized via playlist and about 80GB for use in the one car that can see it and boats I get on in the summer. There is ~120GB free on the device that is a 13ProMax, so what 2 years old? I would have bought the 512 but I would have had to wait for it. Turns out this go round 256 was plenty and I saved 400$. Well Match is 25 per year and iMazing 3 license was 79$.

First was a '87 Ford escort.
First was a share with siblings. We had access to the land yacht, a 72 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon. That one we got about 250k miles out of that Ford Windsor engine. that was also back when you could figure out how to work on them yourself. The other was a 71 chevy impala. Wind up windows, but dad and I put a 4 barrel carb on that 350 so it was fine with me.
My first car was kind of mine because my siblings were all gone. A 78 chevy Monte Carlo. The first one I purchased was an 85 Chevy Monte Carlo.
Cars are like family members. Or they were. the Monte Carlo got stolen and I had to struggle with a beater Barretta. I donated it with over 203k miles on it. Then I drove Mom's Delta 88 for a while before I purchased one of my favorite cars a 99 Cadillac STS. It was like an extension of my living room. Since then I've been doing the Infiniti G Cars. First a 35x and I'm still in my G37xS. Its older than my girlfriend's kid. 177k and still has not had service a warranty would cover. The one my phone works in is a Mercedes I was against its addition to the family.
Remember before global warming? How did we ever get those old cars started in the morning? hahaha I keep mine in the garage.

When talking about muscle cars, we usually consider the Pontiac GTO the vehicle that started the craze. But the concept can be traced back to the 1950s. That's when Chrysler introduced the C-300, a two-door hardtop with a 300-horsepower

Long day. Decent day. Passed welding - 98/100. No shit. Signing up for TIG next go-'round. He agreed to show me a thing or two on MIG and told me what machine to buy. We'll get the hay house/car barn going before we know it.

About 35 Gb of photos/videos over 5 years. If that holds true, the extra 128 would give me 18 more years... No way the phone would last that long!

Unless the apps and OS get Stoopid huge, I'll have trouble filling that up.

I don't even worry about more than 256 Gb SSD on most of my computer builds still. (Have a file server for large storage, tho.)

512 Gb in a phone is a lot!
I've looked at getting a 256 but Samsung is offering twice the storage space as a promotion. I still haven't decided if I want to pull the trigger yet...
