No, they do a cauterizing method. And the ones that I can’t do that to they inject some sorta shit into it to block it up.

The interwebz sez:

• Endovenous ablation: A catheter is inserted into the vein and radiofrequency or laser energy is used to heat and close the vein. This procedure is often performed in a doctor's office.
  
  
• Sclerotherapy: A healthcare professional injects a solution or foam into the vein to scar and close it.

It’s pretty non Invasive, and I can go right to work afterwords.
