Eventually.... then overslept and started work late......ugh.. then my nephew came over and my sister showed up..... she wanted to bake cut out cookies. But it takes days. 8 guess she will be back tomorrow

End of year horse shit. I was just given a PowerPoint template to fill out by the COO.

After she explained it and walked me through it, I challenged her as to why we need to do this. “ we will look at this once, and I’m pretty sure it will never see the light of day again..”

She claimed this was different. I’m a good soldier and will spend hours putting this together. Mark my motherfucking words. It will be seen in our January management meeting, and then never be seen or used again.

1. Your top three priorities for my function.
2. Top three challenges.
3. SWOT (strengths. Weaknesses etc)
4. Suggestions on how we can work effectively as a management team.
5. Suggestion on how we can improve quarterly governance meetings.
6. Who else could you be supporting?
7. Describe how you engage with business stakeholders.
8. Etc.

Fuck them dropping that shit during the holidays. They most likely failed to do their job and were forced to. Or were attempting to put off the reviews until a later date to avoid having to reward employees.
If you have the time to follow up, answer the questions from whom handed it to you. Sarcastically or exaggerated of course but to demonstrate you are doing your job so they can look as if they did theirs. If I knew I was getting laid off I would have had a blast with this.
Instead, no hours. One word answers. Well three for the first one. And working effectively is understanding people, my peers and reports have a life. Specially here during the holidays. If they come at you for pointing it out, ask them if they did not have more important work during the holidays.

Same Day means one of those store-bought tube cookies... which I'll do for someone... but I'll also send all of the cookies home with them, too.

Coconut oils have natural trans fats. I will not use any coconut oil. Avacado oil is my go to as it has a high burn temperature. And it has no strong odor like Olive oil.

Virgin coconut oil does contain a negligible amount of naturally occurring trans fat. It is also high in MCTs which are medium chain triglycerides. They are good for energy and brain health.

I use it in baking, especially my brownies, as it gives them a somewhat exotic taste. I also use it for popcorn and as a skin oil to combat dryness. It is has a naturally occurring antibiotic effect, however, I never use it on my face as it's comedogenic.

It's a high smoke point oil like avocado oil. I use all three.

I don’t even recall the time change making a difference. I don’t remember getting much sleep in the army at all. Def remember long days and nights, that’s for sure.

I don’t really care what time they keep it to. Whether it’s lighter longer or making earlier. Just stop it with the changing clocks. His time of year is rough for me any way you Slice it. These short days fuck me up. They start getting longer next week.

The blood panel came back mostly good. Cholesterol a few points over what they like to see but the concern was my glucose was high…diet exercise…blah blah blah…. I get the CT scan mañana so that will be the big reveal. When I checked in they were like, it’s going to be a month…then he said, “oh, just had a cancelation!” I can’t believe I’ve been able to knock this stuff out before Christmas. Oh, and my PA was cute as a bug!

My nephews girlfriend just broke up with him over a text...then blocked him....

My nephew is better off because their lives were going in different directions. They were sure unevenly yoked in relation to lots of things and her mothers are a nightmare. One is an alcoholic. The other is manipulative and has lots of untreated mental health issues....except for the pot and other sundry methods she uses to treat....

I have never been so grateful for a breakup in my life. That being said..

what a little bitch to break my boys heart...he is a prize and if I was a girl mom I would be happy to have him dating my nephew. I am not just saying this... he is so respectful and kind and just a good boy..... over a text.... really...little bitch.... she better not come sniffing around again.... she has done this twice... she doesn't get a 3rd chance with me

Hopefully, your nephew won't let her back in. Seems she's majored in manipulation taught from her mother's knee.

Ok folks, I’m just not feeling it today. I found out yesterday that my boss will be out for another two months so I get to do his job as well as mine. It’s not his fault, he needs to get his health issues squared away, it’s just that I did the job for 8 months before he was hired and I haven’t seen much out of him in the 9 months he has filled the seat. Now I’ve got to pay catch up, right when the team is starting their holiday vacays. I can’t get into the Christmas spirit, God knows I’ve tried but it’s not happening this year. I’ll put on a happy face for my family, but I don’t see the joy this year. Between work, the holidays, and this new sleep schedule the VA wants me to do I’m exhausted. I’m not a risk to myself or to others, I’m just mentally and physically worn out.

I'm so sorry BSK! There is so much pressure around the holidays. Please do what you need to take care of YOU!
